Hello Adam, i have the same problem, you written on 26. April. Could you solve the Problem till now? Here some Info about my system: Dell PE 2850, Dual CPU, 4GB RAM. Perc4Di with 4Disks-Raid5 and 2Disks-nonRaid Dom0 and all DomUs are loading fine. (2.6.16) At random times the hole maschine hang. I was not able to capture anyting at this time. I have self compiled Kernel without initrd. I think the hang comes with above average disk use. Like starting 2 Filecopys same time, or...

Apologies for the blank message (if it came through). I have heard here and there that there might be in development a plan to make it such that a raid-z can grow its "raid-z''ness" to accommodate a new disk added to it. Example: I have 4Disks in a raid-z[12] configuration. I am uncomfortably low on space, and would like to add a 5th disk. The idea is to pop in disk 5 and have the raid-z expand its feature set and free space to incorporate the 5th disk. Is there indeed such a thing in the works? Or in consideration?
