Filesystem Problems
Hi!
I have a question about filesystems. I'm running a fairly recent version
of WINE from CVS on RH7.1 (Kernel 2.4.6). I have Win98 installed for on a
partition. I user WINE to run Quicken2001 and Word97. When I'm running
Word, I click on the 'open file' button, a get a message:
err:dosfs:DRIVE_ReadSuperblock The filesystem is not FAT !!

[PATCH] Allow "ProxyCommand none" in ssh_config
Hi!
As discussed in the thread "Question regarding patch for
ProxyCommand setting".
The patch is rather straight forward; maybe it would be a good
idea to improve it in a way that it uses a list of string options
that may have a "none" value to reset it to NULL.
Ciao
Thomas

total warning-removal for daemon/
The warnings in daemon were aggravating and risky
for development (too easy to miss new ones) so I spent some
time last week and today working on removing them.
The first patch gets us down to almost no warnings with
the original -Wall setting. That was by far the hardest part.
Once I'd done that, I enabled nearly all of gcc's warnings via
gnulib's warnings and manywarnings modules

[PATCH v3 0/7] Remove 32-bit Xen PV guest support
The long term plan has been to replace Xen PV guests by PVH. The first
victim of that plan are now 32-bit PV guests, as those are used only
rather seldom these days. Xen on x86 requires 64-bit support and with
Grub2 now supporting PVH officially since version 2.04 there is no
need to keep 32-bit PV guest support alive in the Linux kernel.
Additionally Meltdown mitigation is not available in the

[nbdkit PATCH 0/7] Initial implementation of FUA flag passthrough
Tested via:
term1$ qemu-nbd -k $PWD/sock -t -f raw -x foo junk --trace=nbd_\*
term2$ ./nbdkit -f -v -e bar nbd socket=$PWD/sock export=foo
term3$ qemu-io -t none -f raw nbd://localhost:10809/bar --trace=nbd_\*
and checking the traces to see that 'w 0 1' vs. 'w -f 0 1' was able
to influence whether the FUA flag showed up at the server in term1.
Still to go: figure out how to

[PATCH 00 of 17] Documentation updates
The following series flushes my documentation queue and replaces
previous postings of those patches.
The main difference is that the xl cfg file is now formatted using POD
instead of markdown and presented as a manpage.
I have setup a cron job to build docs/html and publish it at
http://xenbits.xen.org/docs/unstable/ (it''s a bit bare right now).
The motivation for some of these patches

when issue in NE10 gets fixed.

[RFC V3 0/8] Ne10 fft fixed and previous
Hi All,
Changes from RFC v2 [1]
armv7,armv8: Extend fixed fft NE10 optimizations to mdct
- Overflow issue fixed by Phil at ARM. Ne10 wip at [2]. Should be upstream soon.
- So, re-enabled using fixed fft for mdct_forward which was disabled in RFCv2
armv7,armv8: Optimize fixed point fft using NE10 library
- Thanks to Jonathan Lennox, fixed some build fixes on iOS and some copy-paste errors

[RFC PATCH v1 0/8] Ne10 fft fixed and previous
Hello Timothy / Jean-Marc / opus-dev,
This patch series is follow up on work I posted on [1].
In addition to what was posted on [1], this patch series mainly
integrates Fixed point FFT implementations in NE10 library into opus.
You can view my opus wip code at [2].
Note that while I found some issues both with the NE10 library(fixed fft)
and with Linaro toolchain (armv8 intrinsics), the work

[RFC PATCH 00/62] Linux as SEV-ES Guest Support
Hi,
here is the first public post of the patch-set to enable Linux to run
under SEV-ES enabled hypervisors. The code is mostly feature-complete,
but there are still a couple of bugs to fix. Nevertheless, given the
size of the patch-set, I think it is about time to ask for initial
feedback of the changes that come with it. To better understand the code
here is a quick explanation of SEV-ES first.
