Office 2007 black artifacting in wine >1.2
I began experiencing this after WINE 1.2 was updating. On the artifacts around the cell I can scroll down then back up and it disappears, only to reappear after entering more data.
Before 1.2 I didn't experience this, and Office ran nearly perfectly.
I don't have any overrides set because I've never needed to. Since experiencing this I've wiped my .wine directory (and

Launching Source engine games results in crash, small res
...ove WINEPREFIX command in a script name l4d.wine, then making another script:
xinit /home/l33/scripts/l4d.wine -- :1
My openGL performance is decent in the unigine heaven benchmark, so I know my drivers are working to some degree...just not in DirectX.
I have the latest Catalyst 9.7 fglrx with a 4870X2 in Arch Linux x86_64.

Help required for Lord of the Rings Online
Hi all,
I would be grateful for any advice on how to get LOTRO working. I'm running the following setup
Linux Mint 9 - 64 bit (AMD 940)
4GB Ram
2GB 4870x2
X-Fi Gamer Extreme
Resolution: 1680x1050
I intially tested LOTRO under crossover which worked but constantly froze and only way out was to ctrl-alt-backspace. I then I to kill the client as it was still running. One minute it would play for 5 minutes, then next it would play for 75 minutes, 30 min...
