gray level values
Hello. I have a matrix whit n1 rows and n2 columns called example. If I do image(example), R shows me an image with 480x480 pixels. How can I obtain the gray level of the pixel of row i and column j? Thanks, Arnau.

I just want to ask how to enlarge the resolution of my plots in R. For ex. for publising I would like a picture of resolution minimal 500 dpi, all I managed was picture of dim 5,28 X 5,83 with 118 pixels/cm. Thank You for the answer! ...l encoding note: The encoder takes the size and frame rate of the output video directly from the yuv4mpeg stream, and does not yet handle 'aspect ratio' (either that, or the player_example doesn't), so if you want to, for example, create an ogg-theora file from an NTSC SVCD mpeg file (480x480) that displays the "correct" size (640x480), you will need to explicitly scale it. Video and audio not in sync
I had some shows on tivo that I figured I wanted to keep on a CD in case I might ever want to watch them again. (Not that you care, butthis really is for my own personal use. I wouldn't have the bandwidth to "share" this stuff even if I wanted to.) So I downloaded a 1 hour show with TiVo ToGo, and I jumped through a few hoops to "free the mpeg", and I got a nice 2 GB
