Eaton 5E 2000i - incorrect values reported by usbhid-ups
...'ve installed nut and did the basic configuration and confirmed
basic communication. At that stage I did not configure upsmon, but simply
was monitoring the values.
I carried out a test to see how long the setup would last - according to
the values reported via upsc - it should have been around 45mins. After
reaching 45mins the ups reported low battery, in fact the battery.charge
got down to 0 (so did the battery.runtime), but the power was still being
supplied. Ultimately after about 2h 10min I ran out of time to test and
turned the power back on.
Clearly either the values reported by the UPS...

Can't find samba server after new NIC installed
...ded another NIC to my samba server. eth0(10.0.0.251) and
eth1(valid dhcp address)
ETH0 was added to connect to another PC that acts as the backup server.
(dedicated connection)
Now, Samba won't come back up.. I can still ssh into the server and all.
Any ideas? I know that the wins needs up to 45mins for the announcement to
work.. but even using ip address on windows (as in
start->run->\\eth1-ip-add) does not work. (windows gives the error - No
Service is operating at the destination network endpoint on the remote
system)
I've added
interfaces = eth1
wins server = ipaddress of windo...

OK. Any recommended way to do this? Is there some nice way to benchmark
speed + memory consumption of llc in LLVM testing infra at the
moment or should I just use 'top' to the inspect memory consumption
and 'time' for speed

...- dovecot-shared file actually works correctly now
- Cache file works with mmap_disable = yes (still some small issues
though)
- Lots of internal changes in indexing code, especially for
mmap_disable = yes
- DIGEST-MD5 authentication works again
- etc.
It's been running with me for 45mins without breaking. Guess it should
work. :)
