Window Server 2003 will not run as paravirtualized?
Hello: According to the Red Hat Virtualization Guide, Windows Server 2003 32-bit will only run as a fully virtualized guest on an AMD64 system. I thought I have seen a lot of discussion about running paravirtualized Windows on CentOS. Is that a bad idea? kvm in Centos 5.3
Hi All, Is KVM support in CentOS 5.3 complete? That is, can a CentOS 5.3 system host KVM VMs or does CentOS 5.3 only support being virtualized via KVM? I ask because I installed KVM on a CentOS 5.3 host, but I can't find a kvm module anywhere in /lib/modules/* (let alone the running kernel). Embedded Question
A friend asked me to setup an embedded appliance with an RO root for minimal maintenance to primarily stream shoutcast out to an amp. The only thing I knew that might do this is iMedia Linux, but the project is practically dead with little to no activity. Is it possible to do something like this with CentOS? Doesn't seem to be much info on the /etc/sysconfig/readonly-root file. Anyone know

Multiple RAID support in CentOS?
...s in RAID1 for the OS and for some VMs, and the other 4 1TB HDDs I want to create an array in RAID5 or RAID10 for file sharing across my home Network. I found a guide but it's a little bit outdated and it's for Debian... Do you have any other pointer I can read/use? Hi, Just set up AAH 1.1 using an HFC BRI line and 5 IP phones as per http://voip-info.org/tiki-index.php?page=ACT+P104+IP+Phone The dialplan was configured through AMP and has nothing fancy in it. As a first time user of not only Asterisk, but also a PBX, there are some operator teething problems. After much googling & searching of voip-info.org, I cannot find any answers to these

Linux router with CentOS
Hello everybody. I'm wondering here if is it possible to setup a CentOS machine as a router for two Internet connections in a LAN. This _router_ would work as the gateway for the workstations using DHCPD. The purpose of this is to optimize the broadband "joining" both connections, and given the case, do not lose the Internet access. ?is this possible? ?too much complicated?

Virtualization - what do You recommend?
Hi All. I plan to use virtualization in my production environment. I plan to use one of the following options: - KVM; - VMWare Esxi; - VMWare Workstation. I plan to install Windows 2008 as a guest.
