At the moment I have 2.4.4 Win32 running on port 9000 @ http://radioinvercargill.nz:9000/ I'm not sure how good this will be from overseas as the queue is only about 8 seconds, burst about 4 seconds. It's adequate for xDSL/Fibre and 4G mobile over here and is on a 450Mbps upstream fibre line. I've tried lower bursts and much bigger queues and visa versa but it's a 288Kbps stream so the burst needs to be quite high to avoid any stuttering for the Muses web player while initially connecting. The only change to the config file is limit section:

Any experiences with newer WD Red drives?

errors (from not getting a smartctl output to getting a complete
listing within 2 tries).
Tried two Reds produced in Jan 2016, two HGST, two SSDs on the same
combination of cable/bay/SATA port as well as different combos. SSD
maxed out at 450Mbps dd write test so doesn't appear to be lousy
cables or board problem. Basically only the Reds were having problems.
Strange thing is a netinstall of CentOS 7.0 "minimal" worked with one
of the Reds before starting to cough. Now that I think about it, could
be due to an update to 7.2 a...

How to improve performance of samba

I use samba in my mips platform. The tcp performance is about 450Mbps. But
the samba perfomance is only 180Mbps(Mips-->PC) and 150Mbps(PC-->Mips). I 'd
like to ask if it is normal and how I can improve the the performance of
samba server.The version of my using samba is 3.0.30.
