Survey: SYSLINUX: 2.13 works, 3.0x don't (H. Peter Anvin)
...t have played around with things a bit (just looking at the setup utility alone makes me wonder.) The MB, if you forgot, is the Supermicro (their logo is the word Super with a big red dot, but, the company seems to be in existance today under the name Supermicro) P6DGE, which is based on the Intel 440GX chipset, and which utilizes SMP (currently being taken advantage of.) I have no SCSI cards or anything like that, my primary harddrive is a much newer Maxtor 60GB UDMA 133, but, it seems to work in normal mode (had to use a compatibility thing that lowered it to 30GB on my old P2-233 system.) The...

Can't boot Syslinux from HD directly. Can indirectly?
I've installed Syslinux on a somewhat old system. The motherboard is based on an Intel 440GX chipset (specifically it's the Supermicro P6DGE if that means anything.) The harddrive has been split up into partitions of one hidden FAT16 (marked as active) to which syslinux is installed (hda1), one normal FAT32 which has windows and dos (hda2.) It also has an extended partition containin...

xen on suse 9.3 and software raid
Has anyone had issues starting xen0 on a md? I have installed it a few times now w/ and w/o raid. Anytime I have a raid1 mirror, Xen panics on boot when trying to mount /. It gets past waiting for /dev/md0 to appear. John _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users
