Plotmath on Fedora 31 broken with with pango >= 1.44 - workarounds?
...er (see attached PNG image if it makes it through the list filters - if not I have shared a copy via my google drive: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1llFqKHD7LFKzQbVuq6sibY1UizRn7xxS/view?usp=sharing ) I'm not the only person who has come across this, e.g. https://stackoverflow.com/q/60656445/429846 and the resulting reported bug on the RedHat Bugzilla: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1815128 Beyond switching to `type = 'Xlib'`, has anyone worked around this issue on a Fedora 31 or later system? Thanks in advance Gavin -- Gavin Simpson, PhD -------------- next part -...

methods() not listing some S3 plot methods...?

At the time I wanted to check the development version of R as I recalled Uwe mentioning that `plot.function` was listed by `methods()` there but not in R2.13.x. I have now compiled the development...

What does \Sexpr[results=rd]{} exactly mean in Rd?
Hi, I have spent a few hours on the R-exts manual and the documentation of parse_Rd() (as well as the PDF document in the references), but I still have not figured out what results=rd means. I thought I could use an R code fragment to create an Rd fragment dynamically. Here is an example, in which I was expected the output to be a describe list <DL> in HTML, but it turns out not to be true.
