melt, remove rows with common id if NA encountered in value
...uot; value in
common with a row containing "NA" in the value column. So in the example
rows below, all rows with SP=425 & variable=CoolidgeLoad would be removed
because NA was encountered in at least one of the rows (in this case 2 of
the rows). Continuing the example, rows with SP=426 &
variable="CoolidgeLoad" would be retained since "NA" doesn't appear in the
value column of any row containing both of these values. Rows with SP=361 &
variable="JMLoad" would also survive. After performing the filter I plan to
"cast" the data....

solved cups error 426 was cups error 426 when accessing admin functions
Hi,
Found a howto doc on my error 426 issue with cups. The fix was to
disable encryption in cups 1.2.4 add
DefaultEncryption Never
to cupsd.conf and that did it. I'd like to have encryption on the admin
area, but for home use i'll take it.
On another subject does anyone know if the Cups book is available as a

cups error 426 when accessing admin functions
...entos 5 machine running the latest cups rpm v1.2.4. I've
included my config minus comments below. My problem is via a web browser i
can access the / resource without a problem, but when either clicking on any
admin function or direct browsing to an admin address /admin i get a message
error 426 upgrade required and i'm told i have to connect to an https
address of the same name. When either clicking on that address or direct
browsing to it i am getting an error 404 page not found. This config worked
previously in 1.22 so i am not sure where my issue is. I'd appreciate any
help...

[LLVMdev] Cute LLVM feature that may be useful for 426 people
This is an FYI to all people who are writing LLVM passes (mostly 426

The "Support/StatisticReporter.h" file provides two useful features that
you may want to make use of in your pass

Splitting massive output into multiple text files
Dear List,
I thought it would be much easier to put a second query into a second mail.
I need to print 426*10000 blocks of variance components data, where 426 is
the number of columns of data that have 10000 permutations of variance
generated for each of them.
I have tried printing out a smaller number of permutations for a smaller
number of markers and that has worked.
However, since a text file w...

a grep/regexpr problem
Hi,
I'm trying to parse lines of the form:
dan001.hin (0): fingerprint={256, 411, 426, 947, 973, 976}
What I need is the sequence of number between {}. I'm using grep as
match <- grep("{([0-9,\s]*)}",s,perl=T,value=T)
where s is a character vector.
But all I get is the whole string s. I tried using regexpr in an attempt
to get just the sequence I wanted:

Rails App freezes when accessed
Hi All,
I just had this problem come up today and so far I''m stumped. This
morning, my mongrels were all completely unresponsive. I had to kill
-9 them to get them to go away. I restarted them, but the first time
that they were accessed they froze again. Nothing gets printed to the
logs. I tried starting a single mongrel and accessing it directly.
If I hit CTRL-C before accessing

prevent line breaks with sink()
Hello.
I have a script that writes vectors to a txt file using sink(). But depending on the console window's size, sometimes you will get output like:
[1] 38 84 272 287 305 348 411 413 425 426 427 457 513 517 569 583 784
[18] 866 933 996
Instead of:
[1] 38 84 272 287 305 348 411 413 425 426 427 457 513 517 569 583 784 866 933 996
Does anyone know how to stop these automatic line breaks? Simply resizing the window won't help due to the length of some of these vectors.
While we...
