ZFS Hot Spare Behavior
I physically removed a disk (c3t8d0 used by ZFS ''pool01'') from a 3310 JBOD connected to a V210 running s10u3 (11/06) and ''zpool status'' reported this:
# zpool status
  pool: pool01

status: One or more devices could not be opened. Sufficient replicas exist for
the pool to continue functioning in a degraded state.

[PATCH AUTOSEL 5.4 424/459] drm/nouveau/disp/nv50-: prevent oops when no channel method map provided
From: Ben Skeggs <bskeggs at redhat.com>
[ Upstream commit 0e6176c6d286316e9431b4f695940cfac4ffe6c2 ]
The implementations for most channel types contains a map of methods to
priv registers in order to provide debugging info when a disp exception
has been raised.
This info is missing from the implementation of PIO channels as they're

strsplit (PR#424)
In R.99, when you strsplit with a space (split=" ") as separator and
the string contains two consecutive spaces, "" is returned.
strsplit(" "," ")
returns
[[1]]
[1] "" ""
whereas it used to return character(0)
Is this really useful like this?? It certainly messes all my code up. Jim

Failing to understand getrusage()
I'm failing to understand how getrusage() works, which is a bit perplexing,
