fixed delay logging onto Samba3.3 from Vista Business
Hi all, I was wondering if anybody has experienced a fixed delay about 30-40seconds while logging onto the samba domain running samba version 3.3 from Windows Vista Business Cheers, Abey

Strange FXS disconnection problem.
Hi All, I've tried to find the solution to this, but sadly met with failure. I've got an asterisk box with two X100P's in, and both cards have the same strange problem. After 2min 40seconds (always: within +/- 1sec) they drop an outbound call. Inbound calls are not affected... they stay up as long as required. I've seen a fair bit of chatter about similar kinds of problems sometimes being related to callprogess detecting false hang-ups, so I've made sure this is disabled...

Zap disconnect
...n kind enough to help me get the logging sorted out so I have some idea of what's going wrong, but I'm a little flummoxed. Essentially the symptoms are as follows; Make a SIP call from Cisco 7960 or 7940 to asterisk, where it is routed out on a ZAP (x100p) line. After exactly 2mins 40seconds (+- 1sec) the call is hung up, "normal clearing" (although obviously it's actually an analogue line) The same symptoms are not experienced with incoming calls on the same zap line, nor with internal SIP-->SIP calls, or external SIP-->SIP or SIP-->IAX calls. With full...

Performance issues with Samba 2.0.6 on FreeBSD
...e locking = true When setting "red raw" to "NO" I would be able to download (BSD->Windows) a 700mb file in 3minutes, 30seconds. Upload would take 6minutes! Setting "read raw" to "YES" would give fast write access (Windows->BSD) uploads around 3minutes, 40seconds, while reads would be extremely slow (7-8minutes!). I have tried disabling oplocks/level2, turning off/on read prediction, setting write raw to "YES" and without any luck I cannot get the same read/write access from my Samba share. I believe this is a problem on the Samba end, as I have...

[LLVMdev] Problem with missing support for non-zero contant initializers.
...ve static constructors. I just hoped I could avoid it, as something like what I proposed above would be much cleaner in my code. Also the execution times for these arrays seem to be quite out of hand. Should generating native assembly for a 32k element (truely) static float lookup table really take 40seconds? It does seem like I will have to go for the runtime approach though, as I don't have time to figure out how to add this functionality to LLVM right now. I'm doing this in my spare time, so I'd much rather work on getting the language working correctly instead. Thanx for the reply. R...

[LLVMdev] Problem with missing support for non-zero contant initializers.

Samba very, VERY slow ...
Hello ! I've installed serveral servers under Linux in my association with samba on it, without any problem. But, for the latest application we need to use, samba has to share about 800 borland data files. All goes right, but the systeme (P3-800Mhz-256Mo RAM for 8 users) is very, VERY slow (about 40 second to open the application). I've take a look at the system use, even when a client
