So the sequence is the running Asterisk segfaults, and when it is restarted
ODBC functionality is broken and the executable in /usr/sbin is += 40kb

As for the segfault, when it happened yesterday the address and rip were the

refusing to load with a message (I forget now the exact wording) that seems
to indicate that the Asterisk version is incompatible with the cdr_tds.so

Checking further, I discovered that in both situations, the asterisk
executable in /usr/sbin grew by about 40KB compared to its size just after
being compiled...
The fix on both machines is to re-copy a backup of the asterisk executable
to /usr/sbin to overwrite the new "suddenly larger" asterisk executable, and
then restarting asterisk on both machines.
Everything then works correctly again unti...

etc.
What should I do. I am using R1.7.1.

A 40KB limitation on messages is probably inappropriate in the year 2017.

Merge, Compact Ofuscate or Compress Javascript Lib ?
Hi !,
A little question about JS Lib manipulation...
- I found that DOJO toolkit gives a DOJO Compressor jar file to
compress JavaScript
http://dojotoolkit.org/docs/compressor_system.html
- On the other hand there''s no docs in Prototype or Scriptaculous and
prototype files are merged.
Why ???
1. Compacting file will reduce bandwidth but is it useful with a
server that gzip .js ?

Testing preRelease 0.3
Hi all,
I?ve updated my local repository with version from 05/01/26 0:00 CET
My test - torrent is very active, so Azureus gets an average download of
40kb/s after a few seconds running, and up to 90kb/s after two minutes.
Rubytorrent has not even 1 piece after fifteen minutes. It gets
connected to 12 or 15 peers but the download ratio is always below
2kb/s. From my point of view there is a long break while trying to
connect to a peer. I didn`t wa...

I'll admit that I hit the reject button. Nothing personal - let me explain.
The NUT mailing lists get a fair amount of spam that we manually filter out before it hits the archives. If you have ever had to sift through a bunch of s...

monthly subscription (15$ per Month), allowing you to download up to 1000 songs

I tried it and encoded some songs using Q6 which results in what you can expect
from a Vorbis File at this quality.
The download speed is also not too bad: I had about 30-40KB/s.
Paying is done via VISA or Paypal (or others).
I'm not quite sure about how legal it is. The claim to have a contract with the

Large directory performance
...y did some informal benchmarking (on a live system so I know results are not scientifically valid) and noticed a huge drop in performance of reads(stat operations) past 20k files in a single directory. I''m using bonnie++, disabling IO testing (-s 0) and just creating, reading, and deleting 40kb files in a single directory. I''ve done this on for directory sizes of 2,000 to 40,000 files. Create performance is a flat line of ~150 files/sec across the board. Delete performance is all over the place, but no higher than 3,000 files/sec. The really interesting data point is read perform...
