Ultime9 works - or wine more win9x compatible than NT :-)
Hi,
When I was about 17 (4 years ago) I dreamed Ultima9 would run on Wine.
No joke - I really dreamed about it. Maybe the many not very
successful tries with WineX made my brain to rebell even when I slept
;)
I thing with WineX 1.1 or 2.0 it worked but:
- 3d sound was broken.
- Colors were mixed up + some other rendering problems
- I had to hack a bit, because it crashed when it attemped to

How to display an image on RGL plot?
...G image, loaded with the rimage package and
coerced to the matrix.
Spheres denote control points, collected from this picture and must be
situated over the certain points of the image.
I display the image with rgl.points.
In case of the standard video camera image (704x576) it has to display over
400000 points which is rather slow and memory consuming.
How can I put an original JPEG on this plot?
Another problem is that the picture is color initially, but was converted to
the grayscale. I'd like to preserve colors.

plot.xy() with type="s" and huge data (PR#9629)
The following code snippet crashes R (under Windows and Linux) for both
R-2.4.1 and R-2.5.0 RC as of yesterday:
set.seed(1)
H <- rnorm(400000)
temp <- rnorm(400000)
plot(H, temp, type='s')

I *guess* it is some overflow in plot.xy() which calls
.Internal(plot.xy(xy, type, pch, lty, col, bg, cex, lwd, ...))
but I haven't investigated closely enough, submitti...
