Performance issues with Samba 2.0.6 on FreeBSD

write raw = no
max xmit = 65536
read size = 16384

When setting "red raw" to "NO" I would be able to download (BSD->Windows)
a 700mb file in 3minutes, 30seconds. Upload would take 6minutes!
Setting "read raw" to "YES" would give fast write access (Windows->BSD)
uploads around 3minutes, 40seconds, while reads would be extremely slow
(7-8minutes!).
I have tried disabling oplocks/level2, turning off/on read prediction, setti...

Wireless problems
Hi guys, I have a problem with my Centos 6.4.
I am experiencing a Wireless Disconnects, some time ago I had them
constantly each 2-3minutes. After upgrading to new kernel (and other
software from "Software Update" I am still exepriencing disconnects but
every 10-15 minutes. It makes me angry because I am doing a lot of work
with ftp servers.

Release 0.9.0 of GPL PV Drivers for Windows
I''ve just put up the latest release of the GPLPV drivers for Windows.
This release involved a fairly big rewrite of the stuff that talks to
Windows as I changed from WDF to WDM. WDF is a newer framework from
Microsoft which makes it easier to write drivers as a lot of the state
management stuff is done for you. It also means shipping a great big dll
around with the drivers (note the

Zap asterisk prob
...he top, my voicemail records VERY strange
thing. first for 10 seconds or so normal dial tone, then it turns out to
be ringing somewhere for 3 times and after that a woman voice starts
telling me that invalid extension dial for operator on hung up this is a
recorded message etc. and asterisk records 3minutes after it a total
silence. I have not a clue what it dialed or how did I get that sound. I
cen send the wav file for someone if he is interested.
It didn't happen with a 2 week old cvs.
ohh and I have to unload the wcfxo and reload it to get the zap device
working properly again.:(

Long timeout on initial connection with time-out-option set
...its portage-tree. It uses various rsync-server
around the world using DNS-round-robin to distribute among them. Those
servers should respond quite fast normally, but sometimes one server is
down (or just drops connection-attemps from a client).
In such cases it takes rsync a very long time (>3minutes) to give up,
and return an error. I tried to solve this issue by including the
"--timeout=15" option, but it appears that is only meant for
connections that are already initialized.
Inspection with help from tcpdump shows that rsync retries after 3, 6,
12, 24 and 48 seconds, with no...

ices2 realplayer
I'm rebroadcasting a realplayer stream and there are two problems.
The icecast2 sounds tinny and its delayed something like 3secs.
Any advice to perhaps use speex as it's talk radio?
Can I cut the delay?
Here is my ices2 config:
