problems with integrate ... arguments
Hi everyone,
I saw this problem dealt with here:
http://markmail.org/search/list:r-project?q=integrate#query:list%3Ar-project%20integrate+page:1+mid:qczmyzr676pgmaaw+state:results
but no one answered that request that I can tell. I'm having the same

Managing random number generating, while using Condor parallel computing
Hello all,
Recently I started playing with running R scripts on the Condor system in my
institute.
(For more on this, have a look at:
Running Long R Jobs with Condor DAG
by Xianhong Xie
link: http://cran.r-project.org/doc/Rnews/Rnews_2005-2.pdf
)
Might someone advice me about the following question:
How should I handle the RNG (random number generation) in the running of
parallel instances of R

Plotting a cubic line from a multiple regression

advise me if (1) this is at all a legitimate procedure, and (2) how to
draw the cubic function that fits the multiple regression?
Thanks!

extracting entire mail archive
I'd like to search the r-help mail archives. However, it takes a long
time to load the html archive for my searches. Is there a simple way to
download the entire http://cran.r-project.org/doc/mail-archives/r-help/
archives in text format so I can execute simple grep searches?
thanks,
Mike

Rebuild of kernel 2.6.9-67.0.20.EL failure
Hello list.
I'm trying to rebuild the 2.6.9.67.0.20.EL kernel, but it fails even without
modifications.
How did I try it?
Created a (non-root) build environment (not a mock )
Installed the kernel.scr.rpm and did a
rpmbuild -ba --target=`uname -m` kernel-2.6.spec 2> prep-err.log | tee
prep-out.log
The build failed at the end:
