RISC-V LLVM sync-up conference calls
...SC-V in upstream LLVM projects. If you're looking for support with issues or high level status updates it's unlikely to be useful to you. This may change as we settle in to a "rhythm" and depending on people's changing availability, but we're currently alternating between 3am UTC and 4pm UTC on Thursdays, with the next call 3am UTC on Thursday 16th. Ana Pazos will be hosting this Thursday's call, hangout/dial-in details to be confirmed. Best, Alex

Different way of aggregating
...te" is used to calculate things such as the sum of all data on the first day, the sum next day, and so on. But how can I calculate the mean of the first hour of all days, the mean of the second hour of all days, and so on. ??? That's Most examples: today at 1am + today at 2am + today at 3am +.... -> sum today tomorrow at 1am + tomorrow at 2am + tomorrow at 3am +.... -> sum tomorrow .................. aggregate(data, as.Date, sum) But what I need is: data today at 1 + data tomorrow at 1 + data in two days at 1 + ..... -> sum at 1am data today at 2 +...

Nested if help
...ect way to write a nested if of sorts to find data for a specific time range for a specific day (across a range of days) and have exhausted my abilities with the manuals I have at hand. I have a good deal of data of this approximate form: day time price 1 1am 5 1 2am 7 1 3am 9 1 4am 12 2 1am 5 2 2am 7 2 3am 9 2 4am 12 etc I am reading from a file I loaded and using a while statement. I then am trying the direct approach of writing the if: if(time>=2am &time <=4am) { #specifying desired time range--since a wh...

Friendly Reminder (OT)
Today, I had a tragic hard drive crash. I hadn''t updated anything to SVN in two weeks. I''m posting this here as a reminder to my beloved Rails community. Everyone, right now..... make a backup of your rails work. Make sure its on two disks. Many of you already do that automatically, but just make sure its working. Two near-release rails plugins were lost in the tragic crash

Backing up Xen DomU''s - Tape Drive - LVM
...by the other DomU, if one DomU is using the tape drive would the other DomU''s get some sort of busy signal if they attempted to use it? Note, the server is only mainly going to be used during business hours some evening work etc, but no one is ever going to be using the server at like 3AM so pausing the DomU''s at that time should not cause a problem. Any ideas? Does anyone else have any suggestions / solutions I have not thought about? (what I've been told) - My backup from Tuesday morning at 3am, indicates that all the files (mailbox) are intact but the subscription file is missing half the entries. - At noon, on Tuesday, half the subscriptions are still missing and half the files now also missing. Any ideas, known issues, suggestions? Details : # dovecot --version 1.0.beta9 # uname -a...

Voicestick / i2telecom.com
Hello, I have been using Voicestick inbound (no outbound) successfully for the last few months. Noticed in my logfile that sip registration failed on 6/27/07 at 3am EDT and no successful registration since. Calls to my number eventually timeout as I don't have voicemail setup - as the first step in trouble shooting I tried to enable voicemail on the voicestick website but this fails also "Transaction Failed. Please try again later." Nothing chan...

My experience with samba/ldap and machine accounts

I stayed till 3am in the company that day. From 3pm to 3am :P - Everything went cool (over 3000 machine accounts), BUT I found a samba/ldap bug or something regarding machine accounts. DO ALWAYS BACKUP MACHINE ACCOUNTS THE FIRST TIME THEY ARE CREATED. (I mean, when an XP/2000 box joins the ldap domain, go and dump t...

Samba 4.0.6 update - login issues
I updated all 14 of our Domain Controllers to 4.0.6, and now I am having random authentication issues. Our radius server uses ntlm_auth to authenticate users. Every morning at 3AM since the update, ntlm_auth fails to authenticate. If I restart Samba 4 on the domain controller that the radius server connects to, then authentication works again. In addition, I am running Samba 3.5.10-125.el6 with winbind on all of our file servers. Users randomly become unable to authentica...

[LLVMdev] llvm-gcc-4-2 development branch is open
...ast commit never turned up. The guy who handles the sync turned the sync off recently due to an email he received. We don't know who sent it to him (it was deleted), but I asked him to re-enable the sync stuff yesterday. I hope that it solved the problem, and that the sync happened last night (3AM PDT). If not, let me know. -bw

Centos 7: UPD packet checksum verification?
...gt; > I'm not sure I understand what you are asking. It is about VOIP calls via SRTP being interrupted at irregular intervals. The intervals appear to depend on the time of day: Such phone calls can last for a duration of about 5--25 minutes during the day to up to 1.5 hours at around 3am before being interrupted. Asterisk says that a package is being replayed, meaning that libsrtp has already seen and processed the packet earlier. That can happen a couple times until asterisk reports authentication failures. The result is that the call is interrupted in that I can not hear th...

puppetdb query not working as expected
Running puppet only at around 4am once a day here. And I noticed that puppetdb query not working as expected, if using it to query nodes based on some custom fact value. During the days, things are working fine. But if I ran the same query at around say 3am (searching nodes based on some custom fact''s value), then it would not be able to return node information. But if I ran puppet on that node at that time, then I could see the node showing up in the query output right away. And if I ran puppetdb query based on custom fact after 5am, then it...

Restart when convenient
I've moved 1 of our facilities over from 1.2 to 1.4 two weeks back. So far, the only issue that I've encounted is. I have a scheduled CRON job that runs at 3am every Sunday, that issues a: asterisk -rx 'restart when convenient' The first Sunday that it ran, Asterisk never restarted. The CRON logs show that it issued the command successfully. This Sunday, it ran but never started back up. Anybody else encountered this? Doug

Yes another "I can't open port 53 for Bind DNS"
Hi, It's just past 3am and for the past 6 hours I've been configuring a secondary name server to replace one that just crashed. My problem appears to be that port 53 is not open for some reason on my server even though I have this: [root at tribe etc]# netstat -an | grep ":53 " tcp 0 0 205....
