Problem reading a PDF output
...ine in Windows and as a postscript file reading it with GSview. Is there anyway to tell what might be wrong with the PDF output? The file is 890KB in size if anyone would like to look at it. The postscript file is 783KB in size. I was able to isolate it to a single plot in a PDF file and it had 38,000 lines of the following that composed 99% of the file: (I was plotting out individual events, which were about that many) 86.66 88.67 m 86.66 92.81 l 86.66 96.95 l 86.66 101.09 l 86.66 105.23 l 86.66 109.37 l 86.66 113.51 l ::::::::::::: 38,000 more of the same 388.87 96.95 l 388.87 92.81 l 3...

Large folders and timeouts
I have been having persistent issues with server timeouts on operations on large folders on our Dovecot install (1.0beta2 RPM that came with Fedora Core 5). Some observations from today... I have a Maildir folder with 38,000 messages (it is my Spam folder, naturally :-). In Thunderbird 1.5.0.2, if I click on that folder, it slowly but steadily downloads the headers and after 3-4 minutes, shows me the contents. So far, so good. If I then select all the messages and click Delete to delete them, that operation...

Mirror Problem
...llion total ones which actually is a creep up from what we had last month. Most of the requests every day happen in the time frame of XX:00 -> XX:15 of every hour. Every proxy seems to give about 100 per day but 2 proxies seem to have had docker problems and have been each contributing 32,000 to 38,000 503's. We did find an error in the docker restart script which hopefully will drop this further. We are still evaluating why just those 2 proxies have so many more and will let you know what is found. Thank you for your patience. -- Stephen J Smoogen.

Asterisk Sip Proxies and SIP persistence
...ething like what I do at work. Having an F5 with a SIP VIP configured, with persistence set up to follow call-id, or from, or to, or what ever ends up being best for my environment (Typically call-id) between 2 to 30 sip servers/engines. Since this is more dev/research as a way of saving 12,000-38,000 on a device for testing and learning more in depth on sip in transit in a home lab environment, I am after something that can do something like that, though not expecting the performance of an actual F5, or anything like that. Thanks in advance, Seann Clark -------------- next part ------...

cluster/distance large matrix
Hi all, I've stumbled upon some memory limitations for the analysis that I want to run. I've a matrix of distances between 38000 objects. These distances were calculated outside of R. I want to cluster these objects. For smaller sets (egn=100) this is how I proceed: A<-matrix(scan(file, n=100*100),100,100, byrow=TRUE) ad<-as.dist(A) ahc<-hclust(ad,method="ward",members=NULL) .... However if I try thi...
