Channelized E1 - help !
If I have a euroisdn pri E1 line from my telco (BT), can I use a cisco 3620 router (with 1 Channelized E1/PRI port) to connect to the E1 line, and connect * to the same lan as the router ? best Fax board?
Prospective user question? What is the simplest/inexpensive board to use in order to be able to receive faxes in Asterisk. I have a couple of cards I bought off E-bay think they were TX-1000 (or supposed to be anyways) but I assume I need some form of fax card though. 7206 as SIP->PSTN Gateway?
All, I know you can use, say, a 2620 w/2 port FXO card as a SIP gateway. Clearly you can use the 5300, 5800, and MGX8850 too. Does anyone know which cards, if any, exist for a 7206VXR to act in a similar capacity, either as a T1/PRI, DS3, or POTS FXO/FXS? What other Cisco routers can act as SIP gateways today? Thanks, Dave
