Create CD from avi files
I have avi files in xVid format from my Camera, and I want to create a
Video CD that can be viewed on any CD player.
I have searched through the various repos (including rpmforage and
kbsingh) and did not find anything that would burn.
I have a number of programs that have no trouble displaying these
files. Including xzine, Avidemux, and VideoLAN-Client).

Video codec
...bps of course.
One of the many tasks is going to be to work around the existing patents but

everything has been discovered or patented for video compression.
I suggest to focus on "SIF", quarter-screen video (352x240 for NSTC
rectangular, TV, pixels and 320x240 for square, computer, pixels). For

MBytes. In my opinion, the video named "Mixtape.small.ogg" is the best.
It's a two minute, fun video that uses 8.8 MB of storage, and looks to be
about 352x240 and 30 fps.

I meant that the video from camera1 would be saved at 00:00, again at 00:10,
and every ten minutes on an automated basis. The video from camera2 would be

New addition to FAQ
Greetings,
I was on IRC about 7 hours ago and suggested that the FAQ be updated slightly.
Rather than sit on my ass and complain I figured I'd ask a few people, and see
if the idea was worth the time.
Here's what Ive started with:
http://www.dimension.net.nz/theora.html
I'll be adding to it over the next 24 hours - mostly in the area of Playback
and Encoding.
Just threw it together
