* I am not sure that "bigger is better" when it comes to replacement batteries. I have been buying slightly larger-capacity batteries for several different UPS brands and models, and the effect ranges from confusion about state-of-charge (~2002 350W APC; with battery door, incidentally) to fried battery charging circuitry (350W MGE Evolution).
* For testing power failure scenarios, I would use a power strip switch or a circuit breaker before tripping a GFCI. I have no scientific basis for that, just feels better for some reason.

Hardware donation - 7600 GS (AGP)
Are there any Nouveau developers in Europe (preferably in the UK) who
would like a GeForce 7600 GS? It's the AGP version and is no longer
useful to me. I've got the power dongle (it requires a 350W power
supply) and a S-Video to composite dongle.
Specs:
BFG GeForce 7600 GS OC (AGP)
512MB RAM
DVI + VGA
1 x power dongle (the sort that plug into pata drives)
1 x "HDTV" dongle (S-Video to composite)

Can not perform shutdowns Ups. Please help.
Details of our installation are:
OS: Turris Omnia (TO)
NUT version: 2.7.4-5
Installation method: from package
UPS device: EATON UPS 5SC 500i , 230V, 350W, 500VA, USB bought in jun 2018
If you connect to TO UPS via USB, the /dev/hidraw0 device will be created.
No any programs from NUT package is not running.
When I run:
/lib/nut/usbhid-ups -a qnapups
Network UPS Tools - Generic HID driver 0.41 (3.10-76-gd2caa7d)

I think the time for me to get involved in NUT documentation has come
again.
Late last week I had to buy a UPS under time pressure. The Eaton unit
that thus project gifted me with in 2006(?) died during a severe
thunderstorm watch, so it was off to MicroCenter to get a replacement
pronto.
I wound up buying an APC BN700MC. It was what they had in the
