kernel 2.6.9-42.0.2.plus.c4 not working properly(2.6.9-34.108.plus.c4
Hi,
I installed kernel version 2.6.9-42.0.2.plus.c4 a few days ago .my home
partition is formatted with xfs .But this version is refusing to recognize
xfs filesystem.the version before that(2.6.9-34.108.plus.c4) is working
fine. Do anyhave any idea what is going on.Arent all centos plus kernel
supposed to have support for xfs and ntfs etc.

Centos 4.3 + KDE + mtrr error
Hello. I'm running Centos 4.3 with KDE from CentOS. There're some
"unsupported" packages, like kernel 2.6.9-34.108.plus.c4smp, Picasa and
Google Earth.
Picasa and Google Earth had never showed critical problems (before),
although they're beta versions.
Today, I started Picasa and Google Earth at the same time, and the X became
a black screen, like it was killed and was just

No reiserfs support after kernel-update
Hi Folks,
I'm using CentOS 4.3 on my desktop. All works well - until today.
On my machine are also other 'nixe like Kubuntu with reiserfs - filesystem.
Before update no problems with this partitions. But after the update from
today(kernel 2.6.9-42.0.2.EL) I get a message "no support for reiserfs is in
the current kernel" and mounting these partitons are impossible.
Why ???

CentOSPlus kernel - Request for input
OK,
I am building the new CentOSPlus kernel for i386/x86_64.
It is based on the 2.6.9-42.EL kernel that will be part of CentOS-4.4.
Currently it has all the features of the older plus kernels and all the
items turned on by the upstream provider in their main kernel ... except
that XFS is being removed from this kernel (and added by a standalone
module that has newer sgi code for xfs).
I am not
