ext3 bug?
Hi,
on one of my Systems I'm seeing a strange phenomenon. When I do a "ls

Samba over slow connections
Hi list (and happy new year),
I'm experiencing some troubles using Samba (4.1.17 debian version) over
VPN. Basically we've following setup :
PC === LAN ===> VPN (WAN) ==== LAN ===> Samba file Server
Copying big (say > 1MiB) files from PC to Samba file server almost
always ends up with a NT_STATUS_IO_TIMEOUT error (or "a network error
occured" if trying to copy from

the start.
No log is generated on server side
Where smbd is started, I can't find any open port on 139 or 145

SCEVExpander bug?
Hi,
We have recently encountered incorrect code generation issues and I think it is a SCEVExpander bug exposed by a recent patch to add nuw/nsw flags when generating code for SCEVMulExpr.
The test case IR looks like this-
%1 = load i16, i16* %arrayidx
%2 = and i16 %1, -32768
The SCEV form of %2 is this-
(-32768 * (%1 /u -32768))<nuw><nsw>
It has both nsw/nuw flags. The signed range of the second operand of SCEVMulExpr (%1 /u -32768) is [0, 2). So it can be either 0 or 1.
But SCEVExpander uses shl to generate the multiply. The generated IR looks something...

Its unexpected because the decoder continues to output all samples of -32768
even when the microphone input is silence or near silence, so I would
expect the decoded values to be at or near 0.
