aggregate slow with many rows - alternative?
...data. It works fine,
but the problem is with my real data (33'000 rows) where the function
is really slow (nothing happened in half an hour).
Does anybody know of other functions that I could use?
Thanks,
Hans-Peter

keent() from Tika - with doveadm
According to man page, the only way it can return EINVAL (22) is either bad filter, or bad timeout. I can't see how the filter would be bad, so I'm guessing ts must be bad. Unfortunately I forgot to ask for it, so I am going to have to ask you run it again and run
p ts
if that's valid, then the only thing that can be bad if the file descriptor 23.

gzip compression throttles system?
I just had a quick play with gzip compression on a filesystem and the
result was the machine grinding to a halt while copying some large
(.wav) files to it from another filesystem in the same pool.
The system became very unresponsive, taking several seconds to echo
keystrokes. The box is a maxed out AMD QuadFX, so it should have plenty
of grunt for this.
Comments?
