Options for timing passes in LLVM?
Hi LLVM-Dev, Are there any options that can be used to report the time each LLVM pass takes to execute? I am examining a program that now takes about 6 times longer to compiler since we moved to the v4.0 sources from the v3.9 sources (~54s to ~320s), and so far my investigation does not seem to point to our additional target specific passes, so I would like to see where the time is being spent. If there are existing options already present for this kind of thing, that would be very helpful. Thanks, MartinO -----------...

Snom high SIP ping time
I don't know everything that's going on as someone else has been working on the project, but it hasn't really been going anywhere, so I had some questions. We've got some Snom 320s with Asterisk 1.2.9.1 (I believe). All was well (with a previous release), but the phones started to get real choppy. We are also running a softphone at this location and it was fine. The SIP qualify was returning ping times anywhere from 20 to 70 ms over a sparsely used LAN. Command prompt (IC...

OT: Snom 320, displaying text on the screen from *
Hey all, First of all, thank you for the help I've gotten on this list in the past. Very helpful, and I apprecaite it. Now, what I'd like to do is send a message to my snom 320s. I'd like to have the message display regardless of what the phone is doing. I have been trying SMS, or the sipsak method on the wiki but I have had no luck thus far. Does anybody have this working, and if so, can you give me a pointer? I imagine this will work the same for the 360s as...

problems with some incoming/outgoing calls
...39;ve been very puzzled lately. I installed a phone system for a friend a few weeks ago, and they're having a problem that I can't get rid of, actually 2 problems. Before I go into the problems, let me tell you about the setup. It's a pretty small setup with only 4 handsets, all Polycom 320s, the server is a Dell SC440 with Intel E2180 CPU (dual core, 2GHz) and 512MB Ram. Internet Connection is an ADSL2, with a not so reliable ISP in australia. For incoming calls, I had a Digium TDM410P with 4xFXO modules and HWEC. Because of these problems, i replaced the Digium card with a Sangoma A2...

SIP transfers failing
Hullo :) I'm using Debian's Asterisk 1.0.7 bristuffed (though I'm only using CAPI for ISDN, and not HFC-S cards) and trying to transfer an incoming SIP call from sipgate.co.uk to any other extension. My phones are AT-320s (PA168S 1.43 firmware) whose documentation says to blind transfer, simply dial the number you want to transfer to, and press 'FWD'... This is what happens when I start the sip debug after the initial call setup... 01618313800 is the callerID of the person making the call, 1301 is the...

Network\Snom phone oddity
I have a client that has 5 Snom 320s. 4 work great, one does not. I upgrade the firmware to the latest (6.5.2) and the problem goes away, but then comes back a couple days later. There is a slight packet loss on the phone (about 1%), though there is no packet loss on any of the other phones. I determine the packet loss by the Linu...

Gain control
How are people doing gain control, out of curiosity? I know boxes exist (anyone have names and mfrs?) that ride the gain for big radio stations, ensuring that there is no distortion and raising the volume of songs recorded at a lower volume. I'd probably buy one if I knew what to buy. ------ Dave Hayes - Consultant - Altadena CA, USA - dave@jetcafe.org Now Playing at:

Gain control
...least once every couple of weeks. Try to get the "Mark 2" versions of each unit. The Compellor model 320 is their second generation unit. If you are doing FM broadcasting, you need to get the dominator that support "pre-emphasis" such as the "722". I have picked up 320s for about $400 and the Dominators go for about $600. Of course Aphex will sell you their "combo" unit the "2020" for about $5K retail. If you want something cheaper (and of course not as good sounding) there are a couple of companies that build "compressor/limiters"...

RESOLVED - Snom 360 Multiple calls on hold help
...yone in case someone else ran into this problem! Firmware 6.5.1 (Current stable release) Asterisk 1.2.13 Call Completion: Off Peer to Perr call completion: On (canreinvite=no is set in sip.conf for each friend) Call join on Xfer (2 calls): Off Those settings seem to do the trick, I tested on Snom 320s with no errors at all, Im going to test on the 360s later today, but in theory its the same! Attended Transfer: Receive a call, place that call on hold via the hold button , then dial/press the extension you would like to consult with, if you want to transfer the call, hit the "Xfer" k...

CentOS and HP Drivers
I am debating installing CentOS on a new HP DL580 with an MSA1000 SAN. HP offers drivers that are specific to RHEL and will not install on other RH distros i.e. RH 9. Has anyone gotten the HP SupportPack to install under CentOS? Thanks! -- This message has been scanned for viruses and dangerous content by MailScanner, and is believed to be clean.

Transfer/Park Question.
I've got a situation where I need to use a transfer to the parking lot as hold, but am not going to use BLF indicators on the phone to pick up the parked calls so I need to hear the 3-digit extension after the transfer. I'm using Snom 300 phones and have tried setting a programmable button to Key Event F_TRANSFER 700, which successfully does the transfer but cuts off audio so you

Asterisk dies when external access is lost
Hello Looking for some help with a rather odd problem. We have Asterisk 1.4.10 running on a Linux box, within our Windows domain. Our Domain Controller is a Windows 2003 server, providing the normal Windows domain functions, such as DHCP and DNS. When we lose either our Domain Controller (for a reboot/maintenance) or external ADSL access, Asterisk drops all SIP registrations - even internal

extension to extension dialing
Sorry for all the newbie questions. I really appreciate everyone's help today. Okay I've got outgoing and incoming calls working with no echo. yay! Now I'm having an issue with SIP extension to extension calling. Any time I dial another extension it goes right into voice mail. My extensions.conf is pretty small and rough but, here's what I have right now. Most of it was taken
