time server = yes
I want my XP clients to update their clocks from my samba server. I
have time server = yes in smb.conf, and running ntpd on the server, but
my clients aren't updating their clocks. I tried running the command
manually logged in as a domain user:
net time /setsntp:10.8.2.3
but it just says "System error 5 has occurred. Access is denied".
Any ideas?

Time synchronization issue
Hi,
I have set a Samba AD DC on my network. Version is 4.1.17 on a Debian
Wheezy.
I have an issue on my Windows XP SP3 clients : the time on these computers
is not synchronized with my Domain Controler.
Big problem is, if time difference is considerable (more or less 5
minutes), users can not log in.
On the other hand, my server is correctly synchronized with NTP server.
I don't

the windows xp clients do not automatically synchronize their time against DC
Hello list
Why my windowsxp clients do not *automatically* synchronize their time
against DC Samba4?.
If I run this command on the client *net time \\ nombre_DC / set /
yes*, the pcs update their time but if I change the date on the DC,
but if I change date on the DC , computers don't do it.
I will appreciate any help you can give me
Best regards
Dania

Time synchronization issue
Hai, i had this also ..
First set the xp machines within 5 min time difference compaired to the server,
then time should be in sync because time is passed by AD.
If you already had 8 failures of time sync then the sources is excluded..
please read : https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/314054 for more info.

Louis

Onderwerp: Re: [Samba] Time synchronization issue
Hello Louis,
I have applied patch from kb314054 to set NTP server on the client computer. It works now.
BUT normally, shouldn't clients synchronise with DC by default ? Why doesn't it work ?

How to define proper breaks in RFM analysis
Hi
Your statement about attaching data is problematic. We cannot do much with it. Instead use output from dput(yourdata) to show us what exactly your data look like.
We also do not know how do you want to split your data. It would be nice if you can show also what should be the bins with respective data. Unless you provide this information you probably would not get any sensible answer.
Cheers

How to define proper breaks in RFM analysis
Hello,
I'm working on RFM analysis and i wanted to define my own breaks but my
frequency distribution is not normally distributed so when I'm using
quartile its not giving the optimal results.
so I'm looking for a better approach where i can define breaks dynamically
because after visualization i can do it easily but i want to apply this
model so that it can automatically define the
