centos5 cifs/autofs
...om a win2k3
server but I am getting the following error in /var/log/messages - the
filesystem does mount but i'm having other issues accessing the data
from our web based app.
Can anyone explain why I get this error please? Indeed the file
mount_cifs.so does not exist on the machine.
automount[31080]: open_mount: (mount):cannot open mount module cifs
(/usr/lib/autofs/mount_cifs.so: cannot open shared object file: No
such file or directory)

prerouting does not effect filtering

And the packages seem to be marked as intented:

But tc -s class show dev eth1
says only htb 1:30 is used.
I get the feeling it is something with the POSTROUTING rule but can not
work out what is wrong.

mysql problems
I installed plesk(first mistake at least here..<G>) and it got in my way
in some area more than it helped. The first thing it did was deny root
access to mysqld and i could not find the username and password for
adding another database. I removed plesk and mysql. when i used yum to
reinstall mysql i was then told root @ localhost was denied. I removed
mysql again and nuked all of

Slow read performance
Help please-
I am running 3.3.1 on Centos using a 10GB network. I get reasonable write speeds, although I think they could be faster. But my read speeds are REALLY slow.
Executive summary:
On gluster client-
Writes average about 700-800MB/s
Reads average about 70-80MB/s
On server-
Writes average about 1-1.5GB/s
Reads average about 2-3GB/s
Any thoughts?

Sorry for the delay. It's great that you are working on MergeFunctions
as well and I agree, we should definitely try to combine our efforts to
improve MergeFunctions.
Just to give you some context, the pass (with the similar function
merging patch) is already being used in a production setting. From my
point of view, it would be better if we focus on improving its
capability
