I still only get 30Hz. I did just update the tv firmware s9 maybe that is why I can't get it 60Hz anymore. I wish I kept better track of the timeline. With the new HDMI 2 cable I get 4096x2160 at 30Hz (there is no 60Hz option). 3840x2160 at 59.9685Hz gives me no signal. > That should ensure > that the SCDC...

support for dp 1.2
Guys, Is there support for display port 1.2 with the nouveau driver and GTX 970? I have a dell 4K monitor and to run it in 4K mode at 60Hz I need to configure the monitor to run version 1.2 of the display port protocol. the nouveau driver works well with display port 1.1 but I only get a 30Hz refresh rate at 4K resolution. thanks.

The problem is the TV used to work at 59.9685 Hz but then it started showing "No signal" on the TV. I was changing settings trying to get it to work again and I happened to change it to 30Hz and it worked. Intel Displayport on Centos 7
...ong to me. nothing I've ever seen uses 17hz or 33hz refresh, its all pretty much 60Hz in LCD flat panel land. single link DVI goes up to 1920x1200 in practice, and dual link up to 2560x1600. so-called '4K', really 3840x2160, requires DisplayPort, or HDMI 2.0 (1.4 supports 4K at 30Hz only). there's actually something like 5 possible DVI combinations. DVI-D is digital only (no analog/VGA output). DVI-A is analog only (really just VGA with a different connector, I've never seen this in the real world). DVI-I is both analog and digital in parallel on the same connec...

[Bug 94342] New: Nvidia G96GLM 3840x2160@30 not functional with nouveau
...nal monitor turns white with a black bar at the bottom instead of showing the correct screen content. Trying predefined modelines by cvt, gtf or the arachnoid modeline calculator (online) does not yield any usable result either (blackscreens). Unfortunately many 4K screens only support at minimum 30Hz and not 23Hz so that this issue is a real problem. Besides this heavy mode switching can still lead to crashes/hangs while the 3840x2160 at 30-interlaced mode worked well even without a hdmimhz parameter. However for interlaced modes the mouse pointer still disappears. -- You are receiving this m...

help with package "simsalabim"
I have attached a text file representing the centralized amplitude of a signal, sampled at 30Hz, whose length N = 6922 My goal is to remove the trend. I am using package "simsalabim". I ran command decompSSA with L = length(Amps)/5 The reason is that I have SSA/MTM toolkit running in Mac/OS. SSA/MTM documentation, relative to SSA, recommends that N/10 <= L <= N/5. Documen...

Donate NVS 510 and 310 cards
I'm in Europe (at least until the 23rd...) so let me know your address. My motivation is to get them working reliably under Fedora 23 x86 to drive a Dell UP2414Q 4k monitor, where currently my father's PC is experiencing regular freezes. So if you would like the loan of a UP2414Q monitor to go with the cards, let me know too. (The UP2414Q is an interesting monitor to drive since it

2460x1440 video card recommendation
Can someone recommend a video card that's capable of driving a monitor at 2560x1600 or 2560x1440 and just works with Centos 7 without requiring any outside video drivers? I would prefer to stay with the built-in video drivers that are included with Centos 7 if possible; I don't play games and such, so I'm not looking for high performance 3D -- I just want a high resolution desktop.
