NUT 2.8.1-3 " Can't claim USB device [051d:0002]@0/0: Entity not found" using usbhid-ups
...t all is working as expected... I saw a similar thread started on 18 October, but it didn't help me. (I also spent a handful of hours searching the web for solutions, and of course read the manual and FAQ - "queequeg".) I tried shutting my UPS (APC "Back-UPS BX750MI FW:295202G -302202G") down with `sudo upsdrvctl shutdown`, but no response. Digging around, I found a few things that raised my suspicion, but I can't figure it out... I followed this fine gentleman's guide (but tweaked it a bit - I don't know why he uses `master` and `slave` for example?): https://w...

I am tentatively optimistic that this unit is not exhibiting the erratic behaviour, but I will continue to monitor it for a while. The firmware version is identified as "295202G -302202G". If this replacement unit really is working correctly, I will no longer be in need of adopting the updated NUT/driver - I will simply await the regular release. Thanks again! Regards, Peter. Extracting shutdown command from "sniffed" USB traffic
...ols/nut/issues/2666#issue-2623441838), I "sniffed" USB traffic from APC's `PowerChute Serial Shutdown` software (with the help of this guide (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0MC-D_oNzbk)). I hope to be able to find out the shutdown command for my APC "Back-UPS BX750MI FW:295202G -302202G". APC's `PowerChute Serial Shutdown` software is able to shut the UPS down, so there must be a command, is my reasoning. *Any help on figuring this command out from the pcap files, is welcome!* I haven't got the slightest idea on how to go about it... I was able to generate two logs....

Indeed - my newest UPS purchase has been a CyberPower!? The best APC units have been my three CS650 units which, as far as I can discover, are no longer available. >> If this rep...

APC BX ...MI series
Hello, Just wanted to clarify: what sort of issues did you have with the APC? Since last year there have been several posts such as https://github.com/networkupstools/nut/issues/2347 about BX****MI (3-4 digits for wattage) series built (or flashed with firmware?) roughly in 2023-2024 as frequently reporting low-battery/replace-battery/all-good events in a short timeframe, both with NUT and
