Why would Webrick use 0.0.0.0:3000 instead of 127.0.0.1:3000 ?
...ils tutorial is having this problem. Does anyone know what could cause it? I pasted the text of his message below. Thanks, Curt -- Original Message -- I am using Instant Rails which comes with Rails 1.0, WEBrick 1.3.1 and Ruby 1.8.2 and I ran the WEBrick server and it starts on http://0.0.0.0:3000 and not http://127.0.0.1:3000. However, when I tried to connect to http://0.0.0.0:3000 using my browser, a dialog pops up telling me that "the connection was refused". Any suggestions on how to solve this problem?.

No Instant Gratification ! Browser can''t access localhost:3000 (IR 1.4)
Hi! I''m learning Ruby on Rails with the Agile Web Development With Rails book. I have installed InstantRails 1.4 (under windows xp 2) and after doing all steps (gem updates, rails demo, ruby script/server which launches WEBrick server), I can''t access the localhost:3000 with the browser. I tried 127.0.0.1:3000 in apache config, then with my IP address 192.168.1.100:3000 (given by DHCP, I''m behind an ADSL router) Firefox says he can''t etablish any connexion with the server at this address. I tried also to "listen 3000" to apache con...

Sipura SPA-3000 and PSTN dtmf
Greetings, What is the recommended settings for using SPA-3000's FXO port for dialing out to PSTN in regard of the DTMF? The voip lan contains SPA-2100 and SPA-3000, with all fxs/fxo ports registered to the Asterisk box with unique username/passwords. The inbound PSTN DTMF works excellently, e.g. people calling from PSTN into the * box are able to pic...

For each of the 3000 items, I want to get the top 50 items that have the highest correlation with it (excluding itself) and generate a data frame with 3 columns like ("ID", "ID2", "cor"), where ID is those 3000 items each repeat 50 tim...

SPA-3000 as a regular Asterisk FXO device?
My SPA-3000 finally arrived and I'm trying to get the FXO port on it to work as if it was a X100P card as far as Asterisk is concerned. I have Asterisk dialing out over the SPA-3000 FXO port no problem. The issue I'm having problems with is having the SPA-3000 automatically forward all incoming PSTN...

ZDB returning strange values
...d references to data blocks stored in top-level vdevs (one vdev #0 in my 6-disk raidz2 pool), as confirmed by the source: http://src.illumos.org/source/xref/illumos-gate/usr/src/cmd/zdb/zdb.c#sprintf_blkptr_compact And I do see that for some of my files as singular DVA entries with blocks sized 0x30000 (I believe that''s 0x20000 = 128k data plus 0x10000 = two parities). However on one file I have a series of two DVA entries, sized 0x39000 + 0x3000. The file is not copies=2 as far as I know, but can be compressed and/or deduped. Samples of zdb output are attached below; the strange outpu...

spouse-friendly spa-3000 pstn interface
This post is simply documenting a spouse-friendly way of using the spa-3000 as both a fxs and fxo port for basic soho environments in the US, allowing asterisk to participate as needed/wanted. All home phones are connected _only_ to the spa-3000 fxs port. The incoming home pstn line is connected _only_ to the spa-3000 fxo port. Defined Line 1 (fxs) to register with ast...
