indexing for Wilcoxon test
Hi everyone,
I've been asked to run a number of Wilcoxon tests on some behavioral data
(below is a sample). They want me to compare each trial to the first
trial, considered the control trial. I know I can use brackets to index and
select, for example, trial 1 vs. trial 4 (not exactly sure how to set that
up either) but it would save me a ton of time if there was a way to do all

SYSLINUX 3.61 released
Changes in 3.61:
* EXTLINUX: fix crash when accessing an empty file.
* elf.c32: If a PHDR segment is present, load it.
* Fix SHA-1 and MD5 passwords.
* ISOLINUX: fix booting when mastered without
mkisofs -boot-info-table (broken since 3.50, sigh...)
* Handle BIOSes which emit multiple contiguous valid
memory regions in the e820 map.

SYSLINUX 3.61-pre4 released, release candidate, bug fixes only
Hi all,
I have just pushed out SYSLINUX 3.61-pre4, and am declaring it a release
candidate. The intent is for 3.61 to be a bugfix-only release, with the
one exception that I couldn't resist shaving off an additional few bytes
off mbr.bin (36 bytes free now.)
If I have missed any bug reports, please holler now. Otherwise I'd like
to release 3.61 final in a couple of days.

Puzzled at lm() and time-series
I tried toy problems and there doesn't seem to be a basic problem
between lm() and ts objects:
X = data.frame(x=c(1,2,7,9), y=c(7,2,3,1))
lm(y ~ x, X)
X <- lapply(X, function(x) ts(x, frequency=12, start=c(1994,7)))
lm(y ~ x, X)
and this works fine - whether you do an lm() before or after making ts
objects, it's okay.
But I have a situation where things aren't okay.

plotting Principle components vs individual variables.
Dear R,
I'm trying to plot the first principle component of an analysis vs the first

but have difficulty thereafter.

isolinux not booting - old 486 with SCSI CD writer
I am trying to install Debian Linux on an an old Intel Classic R+ computer that
uses an internal Yamaha SCSI CD writer model CRW8424S connected to an Adaptec
ISA SCSI card (I think its a 1542CP). The CD writer is is the only device
connected to the SCSI card. The computer has one hard drive connected to the
on-board IDE interface, a 1.44MB 3 1/2 inch floppy and a 1.2MB 5 1/4 inch floppy.

Spec buffer size 13h v 13
Whilst looking at the 3.61 isolinux.asm file I noticed that the code
uses a spec buffer size of 13h for the initial BIOS call with the
drive number passed in in DL. It then uses a spec buffer size of 13
when scanning drive numbers from FFh to 81h
Line 291 is
mov byte [spec_packet],13h
Lines 576 to 577 are
mov si,spec_packet
mov byte [si],13

/etc/samba/smb.conf on the Linux client is as follows:

testparm tells me it is ignoring the 'use kerberos keytab = true' entry.
Linux users can logon fine, kinit and getent password work. The Samba 4
logs show that kerberos has authenticated the user. Users

Pool performance when nearly full
Hi
I know some of this has been discussed in the past but I can''t quite find the exact information I''m seeking
(and I''d check the ZFS wikis but the websites are down at the moment).
Firstly, which is correct, free space shown by "zfs list" or by "zpool iostat" ?
zfs list:
used 50.3 TB, free 13.7 TB, total = 64 TB, free = 21.4%
zpool iostat:

Is there debug version of syslinux?
According to http://syslinux.zytor.com/iso.php, ISOLinux has debug version.
-----http://syslinux.zytor.com/iso.php---
ISOLINUX is by default built in two versions, one version with extra
debugging messages enabled.

My question is: Is there similar debug version for syslinux?
PS. My USB Key uses syslinux 3.11. When it boots, it shows
