Numerical error in R (win32) (PR#8909)
Hi
I had observed the following problem in R (also C, Matlab, and Python).
sprintf('%1.2g\n', 3.15)
give 3.1 instead of 3.2 whereas an input of 3.75 gives 3.8.
Java's System.out.printf is ok though.
> round(3.75,1)
[1] 3.8
> round(3.15,1)
[1] 3.1
Similar outcome with sprintf in R.
However, the right answer should be 3.2

Missing dependencies
I tried to update my Centos with yum update as I have done in the past,
but this time I received a list of dependencies. This is a new
experience for me and I would appreciate any help/suggestions. Here is
one of the lines:

tree connect failed: NT_STATUS_BAD_NETWORK_NAME
Hi,
I can't get access to any shares when running "smbclient //DUCK/test -U
Dominic". I'm getting the message:
tree connect failed: NT_STATUS_BAD_NETWORK_NAME
I'm pretty sure it's authenticating properly as it says "session setup ok"
in the debug output. If I enter the wrong password I get:
"session setup failed: NT_STATUS_LOGON_FAILURE"

Implicit vs explicit printing and the call stack
Hi everyone,
I've run into a bit of strange problem with implicit vs explicit
printing and the call stack. I've included an example at the bottom of
this email. The basic problem is that I have an S3 object with a
print method. When the object is implicitly printed (ie. typed
directly into the console) the function arguments in the call stack
are exploded out to their actual values,
