cacti on centos
Hi all,
I'm trying to get Cacti installed on my CentOS 4.3 x86_64 box. I've
got all of required packages installed, and created database file, and
followed all the instructions in install manual.
However, when I get login screen and use admin for username/password,
it simply redirects me straight back to login screen. Looking at
user_log table, the authentication was

Gluster 3.12 and nfs-ganesha
Hi,
I'm planning to upgrade to gluster 3.12, so I tried on a dev cluster the new release, but I was surprised the Ganesha support is someway incomplete, at least from the documentation point of view.
The installation of glusterfs was successful, and it also works with my ovirt facility. However I cannot easily upload to the ISO domain without the nfs support.
It seems that in 3.12 (and

Release 3.12: Scope and calendar!
Hi,
Here are some top reminders for the 3.12 release:
1) When 3.12 is released 3.8 will be EOL'd, hence users are encouraged
to prepare for the same as per the calendar posted here.
2) 3.12 is a long term maintenance (LTM) release, and potentially the
last in the 3.x line of Gluster!
3) From this release onward, the feature freeze date is moved ~45 days
in advance, before the release.

Release 3.12.8: Scheduled for the 12th of April
Dear Jiffin,
Would it be possible to have the following backported to 3.12:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1482064
See my mail with subject "New 3.12.7 possible split-brain on replica 3" on the list earlier this week for more details.
Thank you very much.
Best regards,
Mabi

Release 3.12.8: Scheduled for the 12th of April
Mabi,
It looks like one of the patches is not a straight forward cherry-pick
to the 3.12 branch. Even though the conflict might be easy to resolve, I
don't think it is a good idea to hurry it for tomorrow. We will
definitely have it ready by the next minor release (or if by chance the
release is delayed and the back port is reviewed and merged before
that). Hope that is acceptable.

Thank you for reporting this. The SIG does take a while to get updated
with the latest bits. We are looking at ways to improve that in the future.

Gluster 3.12 and nfs-ganesha
Thanks Kaleb,
indeed, starting ganesha without HA works, but it's certainly not
desirable, and everything is back to manual operations like in the old days.
Do you have any time estimate for storhaug to be ready? Maybe it's worth
to mention this in the documentation of 3.12 as well, otherwise other
people will have the same problems.
Cheers,
??? Alessandro

Release 3.12.5: Scheduled for the 12th of January
Hi,
I wonder how this procedure works. I could add a bug that I think is a
*blocker*, but there might not be consensus.
Cheers,
