Subversion: 400 Bad request error
Here is my problem, On my network there is a subversion server to which everybody connects to and checks in/out code and documents. The workstations on the network are all based on Fedora core 3. And everybody's home directory is on a nfs share. This nfs share is mounted via the fstab. So no matter to which box a user logs in, his/her home dir is gonna be the same. Again, /home is a nfs

SYSLINUX 3.00-pre9 released
I have just released SYSLINUX 3.00-pre9. The only change versus 3.00-pre8 is that the MEMDISK query API now reports the boot loader ID byte, per Bernd's suggestion. This is a release candidate, and I plan to release it as 3.00 *tomorrow*, unless I hear back anything bad. -hpa

bug / incompatibility with USB booting in Syslinux 3.00 pre9 ?
Hi, I'm Florent BERANGER, from Flonix ( http://www.flonix.com ). After several tests, we have found that Syslinux 3.00 pre9 is no longer compatible with USB stick booting. Syslinux 2.13 works fine with this feature. Error infos : Syslinux 3.00 pre9 only displays its version and a new line with a "a" character and then hangs. Tests configuration : Syslinux applied from : Linux

Parallel runs of an external executable with snow in local
Hi everyone, I'm aiming to run an external executable (say filetorun.EXE) in parallel. The external executable collect needed data from a file, say "input.txt" and, in turn, generates several output files, say "output.txt". I need to generate "input.txt", run the executable and keep "input.txt" and "output.txt". I'm using Windows 7, R

Problem With Model.Tables Function
I am using R for the first time in one of my classes. My students have alerted me to a problem for which we have not found an answer. We find that some means returned by the model.tables function are not correct when missing data is present in analysis of variance problems. We have duplicated the problem using R 1.2.0, 1.2.1, and 1.2.2 under Windows 98 and several distributions of Linux (Redhat

SYSLINUX 3.00-pre10 released
I really hope to God this is the last prerelease of SYSLINUX 3.00... I have added code to isolinux to give a pointer to SBM, but in order for it to fit I had to reorganize sector 0 slightly. Therefore, I decided it called for another prerelease (sigh.) Other changes versus -pre9 is fixing the Makefile and specfile so the RPM builds, fixing up mkdiskimage and adding a README about how to deal

[BUG] boot failure since syslinux-3.00
Hi, This AMD Elan board seems to be very problematic: http://www.embeddedarm.com/products/board-detail.php?product=TS-5500 I'm having various issues with booting recent Linux kernels with syslinux. syslinux-2.13 was the last version that worked and since syslinux-3.00 it doesn't work. When it doesn't work all I get is "Boot failed" from the bootsector. Since the obvious

convert TS dataframe to evenly spaced intervals?
Hi R-help, I have a dataframe consisting of a time-series [t, v]. The timestamps aren't at all evenly spaced. The values are continuous. I've been able to graph this as a step function (which is what it should be) in ggplot2, using the 'step' geom. Now I would like to take the integral of the step function. For this and other reasons, is there a way to convert this into an evenly

SYSLINUX 3.00-pre4 released - FINAL RELEASE CANDIDATE
Okay, I have released SYSLINUX 3.00-pre4. This integrates Joel's MBR-writing patch into the Win32 loader; modified to a fair extent by me. God, the Windows API is uglier than hell. This will definitely be the last prerelease for a while, since I'm about to leave for the airport for the holidays. When I come back I plan to release 3.00, so please try it out and yell if there are

Redirecting Calls
Hello All. I am stumped, please help me out.. I have the following setup: VOIP provider = VOIP GW (asterisk GW1) = VOIP server (asterisk - VS1) The gateway is there to get around the limitations running on the VOIP server. I can call out from and receive calls VS1 no problems at all. However, when I try and redirect an inbound call out via the GW, it drops out. I have found that if I

SYSLINUX 3.00-pre1 released - RELEASE CANDIDATE
Okay, nothing like user mail at 3 am to keep one awake... I have implemented a filename-based syntax for downloading from an alternate TFTP server in PXELINUX. If the filename starts with IP address:: it will: a) Download from the alternate TFTP server; b) Suppress the common pathname prefix. I was considering also adding a configuration file option to set the default TFTP server, but I

Help With Post-hoc Testing
I am trying to do post-hoc tests associated with a repeated measures analysis with on factor nested within respondents. The factor (SOI) has 17 levels. The overall testing is working fine, but I can''t seem to get the multiple comparisons to work. The first step is to "stack" the data. Then I used "lme" to specify and test the overall model. Finally
