2.0.1 compilation problem on Fedora Core 2
I have a compilation problem on FC2, 2xXeon box. The following dialogue output from the end of the compilation illustrates: [very large snipping sound ...] * DONE (cluster) begin installing recommended package foreign make[2]: *** [foreign.ts] Error 1 make[2]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/redhat/SOURCES/R-2.0.1/src/library/Recommended'...

>1TB ZFS thin provisioned partition prevents Opensolaris from booting.
...(sd10): disk has 3221225472 blocks, which is too large for a 32-bit kernl And it continues to do this on the other partition i had created. Ultimately coreadm:default fails bad and the server is stuck at svc.startd[7]: Lost repository event due to disconnection. I am on a Poweredge 2650 with 2xXeon Processors @2.8GHZ 1.5 GB Ram Running Opensolaris 2008.05 Anyideas, or is ZFS partition greater than 1 tb on a 32bit kernel not possible. Do I have to move to 64 bit Solaris? This message posted from opensolaris.org

Unable to handle kernel NULL pointer
Hi, Running MySQL Cluster datanode (a process of large memory which checkpoints data to disk periodically) on a 2xXeon Dell PowerEdge SC1425 (2.6.9-5.ELsmp#1 SMP x86_64), and recieved this notice in /var/log/messages. The datanode process crashed, and using the partition after this seemed to hang processes, eg ls /data/ would hang. Reboot fixed this, boot.log states that the partition was clean, Dec 19 08:33:51 dat...

Asterisk dropping audio
...always coming back after 60 secs), in the meantime the call remains up and no SIP signalation is generated. It happens randomly so it's very difficult to debug. I cannot see common circumstances when it happens (load average is always between 0.10 and 0.95, concurrent calls from 1 to 60 on a 2xXeon 3GHz with 2GB RAM). Calls are terminated to PSTN via other Asterisks with E1 (IAX2) or via SIP to other VoIP carriers. That problem happens with every different termination randomly, it also happens with calls between our users. (Well... I cannot exclude it's a termination problem, but I ca...

RC2: Cannot join domain
...wlessly for the last two months, with big sustained workloads. So.. What changed in RC2 which has to do with domain joining? Release notes do not show anything relevant ( or so it seems ) Anything needs to change in SMB.CONF and/or the LDAP DIT, or we just found a bug? Hardware: Dell 2600SC, 2xXeon 2.4GHz, 1GB ECC DDRAM, very recently purchased Software: Debian Woody base, Samba3.0.0beta2+3.0.0rc2-1 and OpenLDAP 2.1.22-1 from Sid, plus their dependencies. Clients: W2K and WXP Pro, plus some NT4 ( not relevant ) Note: we have an "administrator" account with UID 0, Primary group...

MeetME Conferencing
Can anyone point me to a sample or information on using MeetMe like this? Conference room is set up with 2 PINs, one for the moderator and one for the participants. Participants get music until the moderator joins (to avoid wild, un-moderated tangents). Call is ended and all participants are kicked out when the moderator leaves (or the moderator can kick everyone out via phone keypad).
