Xen PCI/VGA passthrough failing on Ubuntu 12.04 (64-bit)
...ing) while leaving my RAID-5 array available (managed by
Linux). First, here are the machine specs:
CPU: AMD A8-3870K 3.4GHz Quad-Core APU
GPU: APU-integrated AMD Radeon 6550 (shared memory)
Mobo: ASUS F1A75-V EVO with AMD-virtualization enabled in UEFI-BIOS

SWAT (eroneously) reports smbd/nmbd not working
...nistering it via SWAT is the bigest step since man walking on the moon.
but...
SWAT eroneously reports smbd/nmbd not working while they are working.
And even more, the smbd/nmbd [start]/[restart] buttons have dissapeared.
Why is that ?

1.0-test24 and some mbox benchmarking
...ld be accurate. Except
UW-IMAP's read count is a few blocks too much because I got tired of
waiting it and started looking into the mbox to see how far it had gotten.
Read counts could also be somewhat wrong if some of the mbox was already in
buffer cache. I tried to trash it anyway by catting 2x4GB of data into
/dev/null. Kernel used around 900MB of memory for caching.
Total CPU times may also be a bit off, as the computer was being used at
the same time.

Off-Topic: Low Power Hardware
Hello,
I'm slightly off-topic here, but it is somewhat CentOS related!
I'm in search of some hardware that consumes a low amount of power for use
as a test-bed for Linux, various coding projects, and LAN services.
1) Low power consumption (10-15W ... maybe 30W at most)
2) Must run Linux without too much fuss (CentOS or otherwise)
3) Must have two NICs (fast ethernet or better)
4) Memory

How to verify ecc for ram is active and enabled?
Is there a method to view the status of the rams ecc single or double bit errors? I would like to confirm that ecc on my xeon e5520 and ecc ram are performing their role since memtest is ambiguous.
I am running memory test on a p6t6 ws, e5520 xeon, 2gb samsung ecc modules and this is what is on the screen:
Chipset: Core IMC (ECC : Detect / Correct)
However, further down "ECC" is
