Cisco Config
Is anyone here familiar with configuring Cisco routers? I have a Cisco 3620 with 3x WIC-1DSU-T1, 1x 2FE-2W, and 1x 1E-2W. I have 2 T1 lines being brought in by ACD.NET, a local CLEC. Within the next 3 months we will be getting another line from them, as our bandwidth needs grow. I am new to cisco and need help configuring this router. I am currently on a 1M DSL line with them. The DSL modem is connected...

Maintaining Column names while writing csv file.
Dear R helpers, I have one trivial problem while writing an output file in csv format. I have two dataframes say df1 and df2 which I am reading from two different csv files. df1 has column names as date, r1, r2, r3 while the dataframe df2 has column names as date, 1w, 2w. (the dates in both the date frames are identical also no of elements in each column are equal say = 10). I merge these dataframes as df_new = merge(df1, df2, by = "date", all = T) So my new data frame has columns as date, r1, r2, r3, 1w, 2w However, if I try to write this new da...

Administration Guide bug?
Chapter 9, "Troubleshooting and Data Recovery", p.115 states: "To enable background scrubbing, use the zpool set command: # zpool set scrub=2w The parameter is a time duration indicating how often a complete scrub should be performed. In this case, the administrator is requesting that the pool be scrubbed once every two weeks. ZFS automatically tries to schedule I/O to even distribute the work over the two week period, decreasing the per...

Newbie question but an Easy one
Our school needs to replace our Novell server. We have a collection of XP Pro computers and a few XP Home, Win98, Win95 and Win2000 computers. All we need is file sharing. Can Samba be setup so that all these computers can access a file share (F:\ or G:\) and run the program on the client pc? What would be the minimum HW required for Samba server? Greatly thankful I am! Craig

[LLVMdev] Proposal: REST and Ajax in LNT
I think it would be super useful to give LNT a RESTful interface. As LNT grows, it would be nice to be able to update some of the pages with Ajax(or json). Especially for pages with long load times, it makes sense to be able to speed up load times, by fetching the data after page load. It would also allow us to build more dynamic pages, and allow non-web clients better structured access to LNT

[LLVMdev] [GSoC] Increase the coverage of Polly
Hi. My plan would be: 1w Study sources of Polly and LLVM docs relating to analysis. 2w Create tests which demonstrate problems with NSW/NUW 3-4w Fix the handling of wrap overflows. 5w Complete middle term paperwork. 6w Create tests for each of cases which are not currently optimized (e.g. have min/max, sext/zext, trunc or unsigned comparisons in the loop bounds or memory accesses). 7...

...mments to your work plan: > My plan would be: > > 1w Study sources of Polly and LLVM docs relating to analysis You should do this for your application. ;-) At least you should start.
