Poor performance with AFR

I am afraid my timings speak for themselves: CP-A MAKE local disk < 5sec < 0.3sec NFS (100MBit) 55sec+-2sec < 2sec glusterfs (I) 4m29sec 17sec glusterfs (II) 4m05sec 18sec (I) unpatched fuse.ko, (II) patched fuse.ko, both over the same network as NFS. P4 dual core vs AMD64 dual core with HTB
...single core / for traffic control . I use Deban Linux for my router. Can I expect problems with HTB and iproute 2 over ATHLON DUAL CORE/BOX or single box ? Currently my problem is that i have too big system load over CPU / 60-80%/ and packet dropping. at every 15-20sec i have traffic freeze for 1-2sec. when more users are online. 1.1.28 & WoW problems
I had some some weird issues with the last patch but the latest one is bad. If I click on my action bar the screen will pause for about 2sec/+, I try to pan camera same problem. In auto-run it's happens about once every 30s, in manual run forward it's about every 10s. It all started with 1.1.28, now how do I go back to an older version?

MozIAX - Mozilla IAX2 soft-phone 3sec delay
Did anybody tried MozIAX extension? It is Mozilla IAX2 soft-phone. http://moziax.mozdev.org/ I tried it yesterday on eee pc, connected to asterisk on local LAN and the performance is terrible! The delay is about 2sec or 3sec. and very bad echo. I think it is the implementation of their IAX2 in their add on, as I have tried external mic. and the same delay problem. As a comparison I've tried DIAX over dial-up connection and the voice quality was acceptable with very little delay. -- #Joseph GPG KeyID: ED...

User defined tick-n probe.
...lor="#ffffff" text="#000000"> <font size="+1">Hi, <br> <br> Is there a way to make tick-n probe user defined so that user can enter the sampling rate at the command line and no need to change the Dtrace script. I am looking for something like tick-$2sec so that user can see the result at the interval of every 5, 10, 15, 20, 50, 100 etc. sec depending on what he provides as the second argument on command line. <br> <br> Thanks,<br> Ashu.<br> </font> </body> </html>

T.38 SIP Issues
...rking and one day with no changes *poof* it stopped working and hasn't worked for months. The only common factor is Asterisk 1.4.x (always try to use the latest version) and NAT. I've tried: -Linksys ATA -Grandstream ATA -Audicodes ATA All do the same thing. Call connects, hear the first 2sec of fax tone and then just silence, but the call usually stays open. I've tried two T.38-capable providers. I've tried two different routers: -Linksys WRT54GS running DD-WRT (Linux) -Dell Optiplex 170L running PFSense (BSD) Different Linux distros on the servers: -SuSE 64bit -RHEL 32bit -...

rsync compression (-z) and timestamp
...nc generates before being transfered? If not, is there a chance to let the file compressed on the target machine? I want to make some tests, also with the compression ratio. I made a test and transfered a 1GB file. I changed the timestamp with the touch command and rsync needs with the -c Option 42sec and without 80sec! I expected it viceversa! How can it be?! (I made the test several times) I also changed the user rights with chmod. Here the result were what I expected! Rsync needed 45sec with the -c Option, and 2sec without! Again, thank you for spending time to answer! David ____________...

CyberPower BR850ELCD ignores offdelay and turns itself back on while still on battery
...NUT up with the install instructions from the homepage was pretty straightforward, and the UPS was detected by the usbhid-ups driver, I'm having problems getting the UPS to work properly. First issue: whatever I set as the offdelay, seems to be ignored and the UPS just cuts the power about 2sec after receiving the shutdown command. Second issue: When the UPS is on battery power and I issue the shutdown, it goes off, but after about 15sec it comes back on even while still on battery power. I tried setting ondelay to -1 and while that keeps the USV off, when the power comes back, the US...
