Stale auth messages
Hi, When I am debuggin any peer, I get swamped with those messages: chan_sip.c:8866 check_auth: Correct auth, but based on stale nonce received from xyz This seem to make up around 2Mbits/s of data (estimated after a quick tcpdump). Any ideas? This is while the server is idle (no calls, lots of registrations of course, but nothing worth 2Mbits/s) Regards, Mike -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... geo-replication loops
...entral-office and remote-office2 too. In short, this is the scenario I would like to achieve with GlusterFS geo-replication: remote-office1 <--> central-office <--> remote-office2 Obviously, it's possible to create an unique volume among all facilities, but they are connected with 2mbits HDSL and we don't want that user applications get stuck if the network is saturated or unreliable. Does this scenario is feasible? Every suggestion is highly appreciated, thanks! -- Giovanni Toraldo - LiberSoft http://www.libersoft.it

Bandwith Aggregation
I am working on my Diploma Thesis on Computer Science Engineering. The main idea behind of my work is to make it possible to have a Linux box combining multiple ISP/network connections together providing a single connection with an aggregated bandwith. I have been surfing the Internet and I haven''t found anything like that running on Linux. I would like to implement it using iproute 2

Question regarding HTB
...d: metro and extern. Now.. the link comes into my gw. I have an IP which my ISP gave it to me which is eth0. I have 2 other PI clasess 194.126.178.0/23. What I want to do is this: make a HTB script which can limit the bandwidth on each PI individual (ex. on 178.7 i want to have 256kbits extern with 2Mbits metro, on 179.3 i want 128kb with 8mb and so on). All of HTB scripts that my friends gave it to me can limit ALL the bandwidth (extern+metro) and I don`t want that. I have all metro routes in a file called ''clases'' if this is important. If anyone can help me pls do i`m desperate!!...

maxbw minimum
The minimum is set at 1200Kbits/second. However, in testing, if I set that for a VNIC, the domU gets no traffic at all (maybe the occassional packet). Is the minimum too low? If I set a maximum of 2000Kbits/second, I get this from nicstat (expecting around 250Kbytes/s total: Time Int rKB/s wKB/s rPk/s wPk/s rAvs wAvs %Util Sat 04:35:38 xvm15_0 146.6 5.32 102.0

HTB Rate and Prio (continued)
Hi again, I keep posting about my problem with HTB -> http://mailman.ds9a.nl/pipermail/lartc/2005q3/016611.html With a bit of search I recently found the exact same problem I have in the 2004 archives with some graphs that explain it far better than I did -> http://mailman.ds9a.nl/pipermail/lartc/2004q4/014519.html and http://mailman.ds9a.nl/pipermail/lartc/2004q4/014568.html

Multiple ISP + traffic shapping = poor download speed
Hello, Thanks for the great Shorewall which has replaced my hard to maintain home-made scripts. First, what works. Our local network is 10.48.X.X with multiple vlan, each on a dedicated interface. We use Shorewall 4.4.11 from Debian Squeeze. We have a 2 ISP: - isp1 : an optical fiber provider with 10 Mbps. - isp2 : a DSL provider with 15Mbits/1Mbits. We use isp2 as the default outgoing
