lustre+samba

I attached the lustre-log.
What could cause this problem? The reason, I wanted to use flock is
there are some softwares, which cannot save files by various reasons
on the cluster share (for example MS O2K3, Project 2K7).
But as I can see, right now doesn''t matter, it is a notepad, or a
Project 2K7.
Cluster''s version is 1.6.4.1 and 1.6.0.1 and I tested this with
1.6.4.1 and 1.6.2.
What can I do?

problem with ms office
Friends,
I installed MS office 2k7 with wine 1.1.15. I am able to open the
applications and work on it. However if i try to copy a figure from
powerpoint and paste is on the word, it is not working. The reverse is also
not working.
In addition, i am not able to move the figures in the work file to the

Can't modify ms word files with samba 3.3
Hello,
I tried this week to upgrade my samba 3.2.4 (2 PDCs one trusting the
other) to samba 3.3.0 then samba 3.3.1, and apart from the problem
with winbindd and trusted domain, my users are not able to modify any
ms word document (excel does the same).
You can open the file correctly, modify it, and when saving it, it
pops up "Access denied"

Courier->Dovecot Migration Issue
...ate.pl script. We are converting from Courier 0.43 to
Dovecot 1.2.9. For the most part, things seem to be ok. However, an iPhone
IMAP client user is reporting a problem where some of her messages don't
show up. Even stranger is the fact that these same messages do appear when
using Outlook 2k7 for instance. The common denominator for when the
messages are missing seems to be whether or not the message appeared in both
the Courier IMAP and Courier POP3 uid files. The missing messages appear in

Default Program things for Office
Is there anyway for me to get the default programs on my laptop to be like office 2k7 word, etc. for all the types of files? like is there some easy way to do this? I'm under ubuntu linux btw.

Multiple graphs
Hi,
I wrote a simple master function, run(), that has inside six qplot
functions. The goal is to type run() and have all six graphs appear as
separate windows so that I can copy them into PowerPoint for a client.
When I type run(), only the last graph appears, the first five
apparently being overwritten. How do I get all six in separate windows,
ready for copying?
By the way, is the a way

outlook 2007 very slow.
Hello
I have a user with 2500+ sub folders. Total mailboxes size is around
6G. (mdbox, dovecot 2:2.0.14)
Syncing/Receiving appears to be slow, with outlook 2007. He does not
want to switch to an alternative, due to various reasons.
I did not find any error logs indicate issues.
during idle, imap process appears to loop at adding inotify watches to
all folders.
