Samba 3.0.9 SUSE 9.1 have a semi-working point-n-print server working, however when I try to add the drivers for a BROTHER 1850, windows explorer seems to crash and then when I try to edit the properties I get a protection fault error I can successfully add the printer (right click CONNECT) to other machines, but it doesnt print and it just fails with properties dialog as well thanks --

Hi all, is there a simple way to do certain ADUC-operations using the command line in Samba 4.1.9? samba-tool doesn't seem to cover all operations. The operations I'd require are: Assigning a user to an OU and modifying some of the users attributes, like the home directory, UNIX attributes, etc. Kind regards, Andreas

Using Debian Sarge, samba, CUPS, and an HP G85 mutifunction with HPOJ to use the G85 USB connection, I've been able to get raw printing to work, and Point 'n' Print driver download to work, but not at the same time. The driver download was a chore, because of HP's proprietary install program. Had to install the driver locally to get the needed files and copy them manually to the
