Hello everyone,
I'm a new member here at Samba lists. I've been a lightweight Samba user
for several years, but now I am investigating replacing our Active Directory
domain with a pure Samba domain. I already have a few questions, but before

My samba 4.2 server sudden display the following error message after I issue

COFF::IMAGE_REL_AMD64_REL32 relocation overflow when compiling for x86_64
Some time ago I posted here regarding a relocation overflow on Windows
(among other things), but the issue disappeared and so the thread got left.
I've started this new thread because a) I didn't want to necro the old one
and b) it felt like its own.
I've now encountered the issue again and am noting down all the information
I can get about it whilst it's happening.

Convert variable to STring

I have a variable that I would like also to use it as a string. The reasons is that I want to collect results from different function to one table.. So when I use the
colnames(mymatrix) <-c(function1.function2,function3)
the function1, function2, function3 to be "converted" to simple strings so as
