extended search
Hello, is it safe to use arg_new_human_date() from src/lib-storage/mail-search-register-human.c instead of arg_new_date() inside src/lib-storage/mail-search-register-imap.c? The benefit is ability to use interval based search rules, e.g., SINCE 2days. I run it for couple of days and looks fine, used for virtual folders. This kind of search I missed for usage on laptop - I have pretty huge inboxes, thunderbird was over 20% CPU all the time. I switched on using dovecot locally and thunderbird connected to it, my common searches (before: thund...

Pls help: netfront tx ring frozen (any clues appreciated)
Hi, We are running into a situation where rsp_prod index in the shared ring is not getting updated for the netfront tx ring by the netback. We see that rsp_cons is the same value as rsp_prod, with req_prod 236 slots away(tx ring is full). From looking at the netfront driver code, it looks as if xennet_tx_buf_gc processing only happens if rsp_prod is more than rsp_cons. Our

What happened to the mirrors?
Hi all, what happened to the mirrors? Many of them are outdated and older than 2days. They are missing the latest updates from yesterday and the day before yesterday. According to http://mirror-status.centos.org a whopping number of 227 mirrors are currently out of date. This is the major part of all European mirrors. :( Can someone please have a closer look at this? Thanks a lot...

login reporting (utmp?) problem on Linux
I have recently compiled and installed openssh-2.1.1p1 on a linux box. The login reporting does not seem to work properly. When logging into the box via ssh (protocol 1) utmp shows the user logged in and the tty properly, but the field for the login date/time and the field for originating host contain all NULLs. Is anyone else seeing this same behavior, or have I just done something really

help to speed up loops in r
Hi i am using a script which involves the following loop. It attempts to reduce a data frame(zz) of 95000 * 41 down to a data frame (averagedreplicates) of 95000 * 21 by averaging the replicate values as you can see in the script below. This script however is very slow (2days). Any suggestions to speed it up. NB I have also tried using rowMeans rather than adding the 2 values and dividing by 2. (same problem) #SCRIPT STARTS for (i in 1:length(averagedreplicates[,1])) #for (i in 1:dim(averagedreplicates)[1]) { cat(i,'\n') #calculates Meanss #Sample A aver...

FastAGI problems
...39;Local/1@route-out-eeae,2' Could anybody tell me what causes this 'Bad file descriptor' message? >From the code I see, that it comes after the connection has been established with FastAGI server, however I don't see anything on that. This problem happens only very rarely [once/2days with continuous 30channels/8hours load]. What can cause that issue? Did anybody think about using a unix socket for communicating asterisk and the fastagi server? I know, we would lose the remote processing feature, however we can save on IP stack when AGI requested handled locally. Any idea how...

Call of Duty problem.
Hi all Just a quick thanks first for all the efforts that go into such a rewarding piece of kit. Well done Wine and all behind it. Now.....I'm not a big gamer, however, I wanted something different to civ4 and browsed your platinum games and found Call of Duty....next step Amazon.....2days later I try to play it. I have Ubuntu 8.10 and wine 1.1.10 The game installed but when I run it I get; 'could not load opengl' error message. I've copied the output that the game gives me but I'm not sure where to go next. My hardware is: Quad core intel 2gb ram nvidia card t...

9-STABLE -> NFS -> NetAPP:
I'm running a few servers sitting on top of a NetAPP file server ? everything runs great, but periodically I'm getting: nfs_getpages: error 13 vm_fault: pager read error, pid 11355 (https) errors on my screen ? not always same pid ? the annoying part is that it seems to always affect the same jail that is running .. if I shutdown all jails on that physical server, everything shuts down
