1800 Provider
...ith best minute rate? I heard that that Nufone can provide this service for around 3cents/min for calls made within 48 continental states. Any provider that can give better rate, even with additional limitation such as much few states that a call can originate? How do the phone cards company with 2cents/minute rate do it by giving out 1800 access number? TIA! Jim -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... SID mapping: Samba and SSSD
...orted here. I understand it gets irritating continually referring people off-list. Maybe just ignore sssd posts ? NAK'ing something is an extreme measure (IMHO), only used in irresolvable technical differences. Always better to discuss the requirements and maybe come to a compromise. Just my 2cents (that should be 1.5 pennies for you :-) :-).

...emple the PIC16. To force an extension to i32 is expensive on these target and may pose ABI compatibility problems. Anyways, i32 on 64 bits targets may be inefficient, so solving the problem in a more general way is better. Impossing i32 as *the* default size used by everyone is wrong. just my 2cents Cédric

Securing SSH --> Change ports
In there you are almost telling people that security through obscurity is a good way. That might sometimes be true but in this case it could mean that you would be handing passwords and other data out. When you start SSH on port 22 it is done with root privileges because the root user is the only one that can use ports below 1024. Root is the only user that can listen to that port or do

Optimistic Locking Enhancements: Gem or Core?
I''m working on an app that makes use of rails'' optimistic locking feature and seeing some possibilities for improvements. It seems a bit tedious to have to add :lock_version to forms wherever the model is used. You also have to "hack" around rails'' UJS feature to add it as a URL parameter when using remote: true, method: [:put, :patch, :post, :delete].

[LLVMdev] CMake builds clang.
...> Hi, It is possible, but it has some drawback. Mainly, it won't check for new file itself and you would have to manually rerun CMake each times you add/remove a file. The current makefile (gnu makefile) list all the files also, isn't it? they don't glob everythings. just my 2cents. Cédric

[Bug 5124] Parallelize the rsync run using multiple threads and/or connections
...would greatly benefit by multiple connections. My local disk can do read/writes to disk at around 1GB/s (for constant read/write). I'd be more convinced that parallel connections would benefit if there was any benchmarking done to find out where slowdowns are happening, but that's just my 2cents. :-)

This is true for the LA Times implementation of adverts, at least. Maybe your newspaper sites behave similarly. My 2cents worth of troubleshooting, Mark

OS X - Free space reporting issues.
We are putting into production a new samba server(s) with a combined storage pool of several TB's of space. One of the problems we encountered was that OS X ( 10.4.5 ) reported free space incorrectly on very large values ( 650gb in our case ). It would report the free space as doubled for no apparent reason ( probably because it presumes values over a specific amount are 2k blocks rather

[LLVMdev] Conditional Predicate Extraction
Hi all, I am working on the extraction of the conditional predicates from the basic blocks using LLVM. I have written a pass using which i am able to extract the conditional as well as unconditional branch instructions corresponding to different basic blocks. I have written a separate tool to extract the control flow graph (granularity of the level of basic blocks). Now i have to extract the
