Problems with /bin/cat and flintlock?
...ode - it seems that the function FlintLock::lock is never returning and this is locking up the Ruby process.
My guess is that Xapian is locking up in a system call and Ruby can't schedule its green threads.
I've done some basic debugging with strace and noticed the following:

GNOME_DISABLE_CRASH_DIALOG in centos 4
Where would I set the GNOME_DISABLE_CRASH_DIALOG
environment variable so any program running will have this set.
Not just my shell script that runs when I login.
I need this set so when nautilus crashes (sometimes) I dont see the
crash report.
