kerberos ticket on login problem
I'm experimenting with smb + winbind.
My host is joined to AD and I can login to my host fine using my AD
credentials via SSH.?? The only issue is that I don't get a Kerberos
ticket generated.
In /etc/security/pam_winbind.conf I have:
krb5_auth = yes
krb5_ccache_type = KEYRING
In /etc/krb5.conf, I also have:
default_ccache_name = KEYRING:persistent:%{uid}
Using wbinfo -K jas, then

So I've built my first CentOS 7 host and am learning all the new ways of
doing things. I setup and enabled ntpd but after a reboot I get:

Active: inactive (dead)
After issuing:
$ systemctl start ntpd
Ntpd runs just fine. But why isn't it loading at boot

"Input/output error" on mkdir for PPC64 based client
Looks like it is an issue with architecture compatibility in RPC layer (ie,
with XDRs and how it is used). Just glance the logs of the client process
where you saw the errors, which could give some hints. If you don't
understand the logs, share them, so we will try to look into it.

"Input/output error" on mkdir for PPC64 based client
I recently compiled the 3.10-5 client from source on a few PPC64 systems
running RHEL 7.3. They are mounting a Gluster volume which is hosted on
more traditional x86 servers.
Everything seems to be working properly except for creating new
directories from the PPC64 clients. The mkdir command gives a
"Input/output error" and for the first few minutes the new directory is

No power cycle after shutdown on Atlantis Land OnePower A03-S1001
Hello,
my Atlantis UPS (model on "subject" line) fails to cycle off the outlet power after a power failure
on the mains followed by an automatic shutdown of the computer. The UPS simply remains always on,
preventing the computer from restarting.

I have set up a two node workin gluster with glusterfs3.1 and Samba-Sernet

Everything is working great except MSOffice files (Word/Excell). On the
gluster-vol they have the strange behavior
That they rest read only, write protected. Every other type of files can be
manged without problem, openoffice files too.
So when I save a word file on the vol and try to change it it is write

Is there any command in the list provided by "upscmd -l myups" which is
accepted by this UPS?
Do the driver options -q or -D produce any further information about the
failure?...
