Need help with error number of items to replace is not a multiple of replacement length
Hello, I am brand new to R and need a little help understanding what I'm doing wrong here! Please excuse me, I might have the terminology incorrect. What I've got is: A dataset ami07.data with a variable ami_fy07. There are 2929 values in this dataset, each representing a value for a unique hospital. What I would like to do is: Resample with replacement 4000 times (eventually) each sample having 2929 values, calculate a value from each sample, and then calculate a confidence interval. Right now, I'm stuck at the firs...

IVR dial by extension option..
...Extension exten => 5,2,Set(TIMEOUT(response)=10) exten => 5,3,Background(LCL/prompt-60) exten => 5,4,WaitExten(15) When going option 5 you can dial some extensions such as 2802, it goes to the extension (all extens start with 28 on the system). However, just dialing something random like 2929 sends the caller to option 2 of the main menu or 1010 sends the caller to menu option 1 from the main menu. Dialing something like 8080 returns the user to the top of the main menu as defined by the exten => i of the main menu. How can I ensure that only valid extensions can be dialed and anyt...

Error with repeat lines() in function
I have a function that does some plotting. I then add lines to the plot. If executed one line at a time, there is not a problem. If I execute the function, though, I get: Error in ans[[1]] : subscript out of bounds This always occurs after the second lines command, and doesn't happen with all of my data points (some do not have errors). Any ideas? Thanks, Sean

Rounding fractional numbers to nearest fraction
Hi all, I've got a matrix of fractional data that is all positive and greater than zero that I would like to "loosely" classify, for lack of a better word. It looks something like this : 1.07 1.11 1.27 1.59 0.97 0.76 2.23 0.98 0.71 0.88 1.19 1.02 What I'm looking for is a way to round these numbers to the nearest 0.25, i.e. the above matrix would be

HVMAssist BIOS 32 GB Barrier
...orrupts itself (even superblock lost) Looking at the qemu-dm.log file I can see that no matter what size of disk I use I get: HVMAssist BIOS, 1 cpu, $Revision: 1.138 $ $Date: 2005/05/07 15:55:26 $ ata0-0: PCHS=5952/16/63 translation=lba LCHS=744/128/63 ata0 master: QEMU HARDDISK ATA-2 Hard-Disk (2929 MBytes) *ata0-1: PCHS=16383/16/63 translation=lba LCHS=1024/255/63 ata0 slave: QEMU HARDDISK ATA-2 Hard-Disk (32120 MBytes) * This looks to me like the BIOS has some kind of a barrier on it. Is there a way to overcome this barrier? I''m using the xen0-3.0.1-4 package from FC5. Would...
