INITRD > MEMSIZE / 2
...ry. So what happens is the
kernel boots correctly and I get,
RAMDISK: ext2 filesystem found at block 0
RAMDISK: Loading 330000 blocks [ 1 disk ] into ram disk
And then I never see the light of day after that
?
Compressing the ramdisk doesn?t help because it?s basically already
compressed ( a giant 290M tarball used as part of an installation process
run from /linuxrc). After scouring the net I though I would be able to mount
the initrd directly using /dev/initrd, but that didn?t seem to work.
?
Can anybody point me in the right direction?

Possible bug in 3.0.2 - "Manager is watching"
...p.
Physical host has 2 Gig.
Kernel /xen.gz dom0_mem=1024M
Dom0-min-mem = 196
VM1 memory
Memory = 512
VM2 memory
Memory = 1024
When both start normally (that is, when vnc server is not running), the
memory in dom0 goes down to about 290M.
I am going to try and narrow things down more, but I am wondering if any
one else has seen this behavior?

understanding zfs/thunoer "bottlenecks"?
Currently I''m trying to figure out the best zfs layout for a thumper wrt. to read AND write performance.
I did some simple mkfile 512G tests and found out, that per average ~ 500 MB/s seems to be the maximum on can reach (tried initial default setup, all 46 HDDs as R0, etc.).
According to http://www.amd.com/us-en/assets/content_type/DownloadableAssets/ArchitectureWP_062806.pdf I would
