bug in 1.0RC2?
Hello, I have a small problem with dovecot 1.0RC2. This didn't happen with former versions. There are imap processes that are left open a long while after the client disconnected. I am running dovecot on OpenBSD 3.8. Below is the output of a process list. As you can see, there are many imap processes for the same login running. simon 11593 0.0 0.1 924 1140 ?? I 12:21PM

aggregate syntax for grouped column means
I am calculating the mean of each column grouped by the variable 'id'. I do this using aggregate, data.table, and plyr. My aggregate results do not match the other two, and I am trying to figure out what is incorrect with my syntax. Any suggestions? Thanks. Here is the data. myData <- structure(list(var1 = c(31.59, 32.21, 31.78, 31.34, 31.61, 31.61, 30.59, 30.84, 30.98, 30.79, 30.79,

summary(lm(x~y)) difference between R-2.2.1 and R-2.3.0
Hi [macOSX 10.4.6; R-2.3.0] I have encountered a difference in behaviour between R-2.2.1 and R-2.3.0 when performing a linear model. Transcript follows for R-2.3.0 (R-2.2.1 worked as expected). How to make R-2.3.0 perform as R-2.2.1 did? > dput(x) c(29.13, 29.88, 30.09, 29.99, 29.74, 29.64, 29.65, 29.7, 30.04, 29.89, 29.96, 29.65, 28.76, 28.41, 28.38, 29.55, 29.76, 29.75, 29.84,

How to scan df from a specific word?
Hi R-helpers, I need to read some file with different lines (I don't know the number of lines to skip) and I would like to find a way to start reading the data.frame from the word "source". ex: djhsafk asdfhkjash shdfjkash asfhjkash #those lines contain numbers and words, I want to skip then but they have different sizes asdfhjkash asdfhjksa source tret 2 res 3 Can

[LLVMdev] Polyhedron 2005 results for dragonegg 3.3svn
Below are the results for the Polyhedron 2005 benchmarks compiled with llvm/compiler-rt/dragonegg 3.3svn at r182439 against current FSF gcc 4.7.3svn and 4.8.1svn. The only major bug remaining in the dragonegg 3.3svn support for gcc 4.8.x is http://llvm.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=15980 which results in unresolved symbols for _iround and _iroundf in the aermod and rnflow testcases. Note that this

New full text search indexer
As described earlier (http://dovecot.org/list/dovecot/2006-December/018055.html), Dovecot nowadays has full text search indexing support in CVS HEAD. Currently there are two backends: Lucene and Squat. Lucene's problem is that standard IMAP SEARCH command can't be used with it without breaking IMAP RFC. So Lucene can be used only with non-standard X-BODY-FAST and X-TEXT-FAST search

thread taskq / unp_gc() using 100% cpu and stalling unix socket IPC
Hi there We have a pair of servers running FreeBSD 9.1-RC3 that act as transparent layer 7 loadbalancer (relayd) and pop/imap proxy (dovecot). Only one of them is active at a given time, it's a failover setup. From time to time the active one gets in a state in which the 'thread taskq' thread uses up 100% of one cpu on its own, like here: ---- PID USERNAME PRI NICE SIZE
