Porting Speex to embedded 32bit
...% Except 11200 mode it can work on 48 MHz STM32 USB Access Line. (11200 probably can work in non full duplex application). Version for ARM v5E (STR9) is faster for about of 25% for comparable processor's frequencies, by using of DSP commands. Version for ARM v4 (STR7, LPC21XX/23XX/28XX) can work even on 60 MHz. (but not all speex modes. Just 6,8,15). Here is Measurements of performance for LPC2138 - 60 MHz. 4000 kbit/sec (quality = 1) Encoder - 17.9 msec/frame 59% Decoder - 0.97 msec/frame 3% 6000 kbit/sec (quality = 2) Encoder - 13.5 msec/frame 43% Decode...

Asterisk and Cisco PRI gateway config

Enclosed here are the definitions needed for it. BTW, Cisco's CCM is using MGCP thus the Q.sig is handled by CCM. Here I am using SIP so the router must decode/encode the Q.sig. The Nortel should be defined

A hypothetical question...
I know this is casting a wide net, but If you were charged with building a large, public VOIP network with multiple PSTN gateways, the capacity to carry a lot of traffic and bill clients accurately, what pieces (brands, makes, models) would you use to assemble the solution? Assume that $$$ is not an issue. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL:

Dynamically generating 10k pages per second
Hi, Anyone got an idea of how many web and database servers I''d need to push out 10,000 dynamic pages per second? Fairly simple pages and database queries. I''d appreciate recommendations for hardware. The clients for this project are anticipating large amounts of burst traffic. Joe
